Possibly a “teen”? An Amish teen?

Wonder if the gray hoodie guy even knew how to fly a helicopter?

Probably like the hoodrats who attempt to hijack a car - only to find it’s a stick shift.

No idea.....

If you follow the link a second article provides the identity of the dead hijacker.

Hillsboro police on Wednesday identified the masked suspect who tried to hijack a helicopter at Hillsboro Airport as a 25-year-old man apparently from Washington state who had no connection to the flight school where he held up a pilot and passenger at gunpoint Monday.

It's still not clear why Holden Austin Gorka climbed over a barbed wire fence and tried to take the helicopter outside Hillsboro Aero Academy before takeoff, said Hillsboro police Lt. Henry Reimann. Investigators haven't been able to find a permanent address for Gorka, but online voter records lists him as being registered in Olympia, Washington.

Gorka has no apparent connection to the airport or the flight school, Reimann said. Investigators also haven't been able to determine if he has any history of mental illness or drug use.

Hillsboro, not terribly far west of Portland, hosts the main Oregon campus of Intel Corp.

My guess? Some “antifa” thug looking to have a means for greater violence when next there are demos downtown Portland.
