Multi-billion dollar corporation CNN is Extorting a Private Citizen over a Joke Tweet!
CNN reported today that they declined to publicly identify the Reddit user who created the Trump CNN wrestling video because he promised not to do it again.
CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski then went on to say, “CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.”
That is extortion.
They threatened to dox him.
Founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange tweeted out, ‘CNN committed a crime, violating 135.60 of the New York criminal code.’ Below is a description of the code:

America used to have compelling enemies like Mussolini and Hitler.
but the left?
their enemies are Rodeo clowns, youtube creators, individual internet posters.
it’s extremely cowardly.

The Feds because CNN made threats across State lines.
CNN really stepped in it this time. I am sure their CEO will be pleased. Haha!

I fear all CNN has done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.

But this happens all the time. Pornographer Larry Flynt blackmailed Congress during the Clinton Impeachment by openly declaring on a radio show that his detectives found Congress members having affairs and if Clinton was removed from office, he would reveal them.
Speaker Gingrich refused to allow testimony in the Judiciary Committee from Juanita Broadrick or anything major related to Filegate, Chinagate, Travelgate, etc. Only Monica-related was pushed to the prosecutor's astonishment. (Sellout: The Inside Story of President Clinton's Impeachment by David P. Schippers & Alan P. Henry) What was wrong with Newt?
Later Newt Gingrich resigned as it came out he was having an affair with a staffer.
Acting Speaker Livingston took over and immediately had to resign due to multiple affairs which he did when Maxine Waters and some other female liberal Congresswomen actually hissed accusations at him on the House floor when he was speaking - like snakes. He couldn't take it. Next was Dennis Hastert and we all know now that he had plenty to be blackmailed about. President Clinton was not removed from office.
Open blackmail in action. In this case, I called the FBI after Flynt's statement and actually got through to an agent who talked to me. I asked him if that wasn't a blackmail crime. He basically said that because Flynt was a publisher and it was politically related it wasn't a crime. Same goes for CNN as far as I can see. They get to do crimes you or I would be arrested for because they are media and it's political.

I am very surprised this morning to see that Fox & Friends appears not to be reporting at all on CNN’s despicable action.
I know that Fox has turned leftward in recent times, but Fox & Friends has continued to be mostly conservative in its perspective.

No, go to trial. KEKistan will crowdfund a Robo-lawyer or something. Could be just what we need -a “Look, squirrel” thing while The Wall goes up.

"I fear all CNN has done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."Very few sentences completely convey meaning that well. I understand it was originally said by a Japanese General about their attack at Pearl Harbor. But I would HOPE to achieve that level some day.

Al Capone was a violent thug. The government couldn’t shut him down for his violence or his thuggery. So they shut him down for tax evasion. Not exciting, but it did the trick.
CNN is a lying DNC front. Trump has weakened them for their lying and their bias, but they aren’t dead yet. But this bit of extortion may kill them. Perhaps not exciting stuff, but it might do the trick. They shouldn’t be a national news org.

I am NOT surprised. Has ANY “major” news outlet reported on it?
Only reports I have seen are from internet sources.

Good and informative post!
We will see how it plays out.
To: \/\/ayne
I don’t see this particular case as political- they are dissing CNN itself not any political issue, and CNN threatened him in return.
I know it can also be argued the other way, but what political issue does this edited video address? none that I can see.

Me too!! Anticipating this, Andrew Kaczynski from CNN tweeted that he had a statement admitting wrongdoing and by the meme-poster, and quoted him as saying, “I was not threatened in anyway.” LOL, a good lawyer can get past that attempt at a “waiver of liability!”
To: Enlightened1
What is so ironic is that CNN and others in the MSM, always state the following in their reports: “anonymous sources,” “an unnamed source,” “sources tell CNN news that...”, etc. CNN and others love to have sources with no names or identities.
Now CNN has a source.....and is threatening to release his name!!

The “reporters” of this better hope there are no skeletons in their closets.
