I am for the Twitter and defending himself, but this was not a good Tweet. It gave publicity to Morning Joe when his voters don’t watch anyway. It made her a sympathetic figure when he could have responded differently to their attacks, and they are mean and vicious - no question about that. It perpetuated the narrative that his opponents say about him. It has taken over media coverage when it should have been on the travel ban, immigration, energy, and South Korea.

Most importantly, CNN was floundering, and this Tweet and Morning Joe coverage plus now the National Enquirer blackmail story that arose from it is now dominating all media coverage. The media would have had nothing today. You know what it would have been? It would have been James O’Keefe and CNN. When your opponent is flailing, you get out of the way. James O’Keefe’s scoop (which was huge) never made it to the top of Twitter because all anyone is talking about is the Morning Joe Tweet. In fact, now it’s gone. CNN is rejoicing. This Tweet was a gift to them.

Ever notice that every time everyone, both Republicans, Democrats, liberals, and conservatives start saying, "But This Tweet Was a Bad One", that we eventually learn that Trump is crazy like a fox?

I wonder what Trump wanted off the headlines that is happening. Anyone paying attention to the travel ban it the airports anymore? Nope. Or maybe he wanted more people to watch Morning Joe, so they can see how low they are.

We both know that this tweet will bring new people watching it, and thus more people will see how far gone CNN truly is.

Yea, maybe he shouldn't have, but then maybe he is crazy like a fox.

I'm not a wrestling fan, but Donald Trump is. He is good friends Vince McMahon, and McMahon has made a fortune of selling bad vs good. Without a good guy vs a bad guy, Pro Wrestling would be as boring as Greco-Roman wrestling, and thus it wouldn't have an audience. So, he knows he needs the bad guys in the media to keep him looking good.

As Rush pointed out, the media is following the red dot Trump is shining on the floor, and again, they are turning sharply to follow the light, and Trump is laughing his ass of.

Yup, crazy like a fox.
