The vice chairman of President Trumps commission on election integrity sent a letter to all 50 states Wednesday requesting information on their voter rolls.
Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach is seeking several pieces of information about voters, including their names, birthdays, the last four digits of their Social Security numbers and their voting history dating back to 2006.
The letter, sent to the secretaries of state of all 50 states and obtained by The Hill, directs states to turn over publicly-available voter roll data including, if publicly available under the laws of your state, the full first and last names of all registrants, middle names or initials if available, addresses, dates of birth, political party (if recorded in your state), last four digits of social security number if available, [and] voter history from 2006 onward.
Kobachs letter asks states to respond to a list of questions about voting in their states, inquiring about law, policies or other issues hinder your ability to ensure the integrity of elections you administer. He also asks for information about convictions for election -related crimes since the November 2000 presidential election.

This could be really good...Oregon has ONLINE VOTER REGISTRATION, but I believe they only randomly “audit” for citizenship
I would expect California might secede over this...or at least force the National Guard to come take their data.
I expect you are right. It will be sanctuary cities and overturned travel bans all over again. This will take effort over time. This administration will make the sustained effort.
“Any officer of election or custodian who willfully fails to comply with this section shall be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.”
Pocket change to them, less than the round-off error from the taxes that they extract from CA taxpayers each day.
Boom!
No, Maine.
Oh, and Oregon has a Republican Secretary of State for first time in about 30 years
This is “doing nothing about Russia affecting the integrity of the election process.”
Yes I cant wait to see the mental gymnastics employedin objecting to this.
Before the election zer0 assured us you have a greater chance of getting struck by lightning than see voter fraud. Totally asinine.
But then Trump won.
So now there is all kinds of hacking and colluding shenanigans Trump is involved in.
Trump says ok lets look at the voter rolls and get to the bottom of this.
Liberals are now going to go back to saying there is no voter fraud but somehow Trump still managed to steal the election and you cant look at voter rolls cuz its raciss or Orwellian or something and blah blah....
Like i said, pass the popcorn
Yes i am hoping this is boom-worthy news
I'd hope that politely requesting this information is only step one and when these blue states refuse, we'll move on to step two.
Gee, I wonder if Robin Williams voted in November last year? And I wonder if ones like John Belushi or Marilyn Monroe did so as well? And I also wonder if staunch Hollywood Republicans like Frank Sinatra or Dinah Shore or Betty Grable or Walter Pidgeon have been reliably voting for the free stuff party all of these years since their passings?
How I loathe that POS! @#$%^&*!
Thanks for the heartburn, LOL!
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Perfect analogy. Especially with respect to the liberal castrati
I was a little disappointed that Kobach didn’t get a job in the administration but this could be a way better role for him. If there’s anyone who can get to the bottom of the vote fraud issue it will be Kobach.
Yes, the punk is responsible for boatloads of fraud in Virginia. Illegals registered aplenty there.
shall retain and preserve, for a period of twenty-two months from the date of any general, special, or primary election
*************
How is this going to play with their request for info back to 2006.
