Yeah I thought that scene worked considering what weirdo psychopathic scum the Underwoods are. When’s the last time an unsympathetic character in a show did something gay? The gay scene they shoe-horned in to the story was the hiding witness girl and her new friend from the Christian center.
Freegards
Not so much that the movies themselves are “gay” but many of those involved in their production are and they add a gay flavor to the product - last week’s feature was “Gypsy” and supposedly several of the writers and actors, including the female lead, were of the homosexual persuasion - happy to say I’ve never found it attractive enough to be able to watch beyond a few minutes of it, but apparently it is the stereotypical “Broadway musical” which is supposedly like catnip to gays.....
“Its a big part of why I cancelled Cable and threw away my TV.”
Same here, and until enough people stop giving money to those pushing the gay agenda in media, it will continue.
3.4%?
Maybe in West Hollywood but it is far lower elsewhere.
You know speaking of turning straight characters gay, in the finale of Roseanne didn’t they make Jackie’s character into a lesbian all of a sudden at the very last minute?
One of my sons lived in Hollywood for a couple of years after college. He told me I would be shocked to hear who is gay among men in film. He said essentially they all are- married or not. Think Rock Hudson.
“3.4%”
I’ve sometimes heard the number to be as high as 10% and of course people will get sore if you point out otherwise.
Of course, the Wesen look human most of the time.
The casting couch in Hollywood goes both ways.
Been showing a lot of Rock Hudson movies.
I was shocked to find out that the guy who played Jimmy Olson on the TV Superman series was a homo and had dalliances with Montgomery Clift.
As far as I can recall, they never had any gayness or political commentary of any kind on Grimm. I mean, there was one early episode where a Wesen was killing people to sell their organs, and Wu said something like, “He’s a good capitalist,” but that was as close as it ever got. Well, there was a late episode that got a little enviro-preachy, but I was impressed that the love potion episode towards the end didn’t try to make Wu and/or Hank gay, since they were both single males.
And, it’s my understanding that the show was executive produced by the uber flamer from Will and Grace. I don’t know exactly how much input an executive producer has, but he didn’t ruin the show.
I’m pretty sure I’ve spoke with you about Grimm before. We must be the only Grimm fans on here. :)
I stopped watching POI early in the second season when the main guy (it’s been too long for me to remember character names) said, “We have to save her wife!” I threw up a little and—as it was right in the middle of the gay marriage push—I wasn’t going to be party to their agenda.
Agents of SHIELD has had little digs throughout its history, but I finally stopped watching with the recent “computer-generated dimension” storyline where Fitz was a Nazi-like. They made sure to have him say, “We will Make Hydra Great Again!” The next episode, he tortured Daisy and said, “I told her to stop talking. Nevertheless, she persisted.” I don’t need to be bashed over the head for daring to watch their entertainment, so I dropped the show. To be honest, it was never very good.
Same here. Grey’s Anatomy, which I love, is the same. I am into Season 4 and don’t know whether I can continue to watch. I believe the militant Gay’s organizations, hell bent on overturning the traditional family, began years ago, fighting their way into our major institutions, and in jobs which had power such as government and anything television. Of course, many in the entertainment industry are very creative and talented, so it was an easy fit for them. I think now they are disgusting people with their lack of modesty in film and television, just as images of heterosexuality does when too extreme. Most people want programming that their kids can watch without being confused. Gay folks in entertainment need to realize that they are a small percentage of the population and, at some point, that has an effect with the majority.
I quit watching after the lesbian sex scene in the second or third year.
I no longer watch TV at all, in fact for the year I don’t even have a TV.
Movies for a long time I did not go to see movies with certain actors, now I just don’t go. Same with the NFL.
The grand scheme is to get our children used to homosexual activity. Even some of the show meant for children less that 5-6 years of age are queer as all get out
Hollywood is ate up with fags
The upper echelons and aristocracy of the Roman empire went gay. That was before the empire fell....
