As far as I can recall, they never had any gayness or political commentary of any kind on Grimm. I mean, there was one early episode where a Wesen was killing people to sell their organs, and Wu said something like, “He’s a good capitalist,” but that was as close as it ever got. Well, there was a late episode that got a little enviro-preachy, but I was impressed that the love potion episode towards the end didn’t try to make Wu and/or Hank gay, since they were both single males.

And, it’s my understanding that the show was executive produced by the uber flamer from Will and Grace. I don’t know exactly how much input an executive producer has, but he didn’t ruin the show.

I’m pretty sure I’ve spoke with you about Grimm before. We must be the only Grimm fans on here. :)

Probably. Which is funny because there are far less conservative shows that have their own "live thread" around here. Maybe we should have tried to start one. Might have gotten enough buzz going that we would have gotten a full final season.

But you are right there was as far as I can remember no gayness and the politics were very middle of the road.
