Mark Zuckerberg Compares Facebook To ‘Churches’ and ‘Community Support Groups’

Mark Zuckerberg recently stated his desire to have Facebook act as a community for it’s users, replacing “churches” and “community support groups.” Speaking at Facebook’s first Communities Summit in Chicago last week, Mark Zuckerberg discussed a number of topics, including Facebook’s new mission statement which was changed from “connecting the world” to a new goal, to “give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.”

...

CNBC reports that later at the rally, the Facebook CEO discussed the use of Facebook as a community tool to bring it’s users closer together, “It’s so striking that for decades, membership in all kinds of groups has declined as much as one-quarter,” said Zuckerberg during the Communities Summit, “That’s a lot of people who now need to find a sense of purpose and support somewhere else.” He then seemed to liken Facebook to a church of sorts, “People who go to church are more likely to volunteer and give to charity — not just because they’re religious, but because they’re part of a community.”

Zuckerberg stated his desire to have Facebook act as a networking tool to help people connect and develop communities and the importance of community leaders and moderators, “A church doesn’t just come together.” he said, “It has a pastor who cares for the well-being of their congregation, makes sure they have food and shelter. A little league team has a coach who motivates the kids and helps them hit better. Leaders set the culture, inspire us, give us a safety net, and look out for us.”

Stole his biz idea

Stole the shares of his best friend, roomate and biz partner

Bought EVERY Palo Alto home around him in order to have No Neighbors

Decried the building of walls (”We need BRIDGES, not walls!”), threw the Hawaiians off his property, built a high wall

Took Facebook public the day after his marriage in a community property state

Took legal efforts to define private property at a level that would have made a Robber Baron blush (your buddy uploads to FB a photo of you with a bottle of Stolichnaya, later you get super famous, Stoli uses your photo in a huge bilboard —> Mark Z gets paid cuz he “owns” your photo, but you get NOTHING)

In EVERY major decision in his life Suckerberg has used TONS of deception, he will never change

This billion dollar marxist suppresses content that “community” members have already opted into (their groups, their friends, etc. see their content in lower rotation than the biased and sponsored “hip trends” from fakebook).

Oh, you can PAY to have your content seen by more than 5 people (out of 200-2000 subscribers) but then it will be pitched to a thousand who never opted in, etc. etc.

He needs to stop trying to drive the narrative. His company and ABC News colluded to try to drive the topics of the 2016 political election. It was publicly announced by each ahead of the election.

Mark Zuckerberg is a child. A rich child perhaps, but still a child.

Forgot:

Zuckerberg wanted to have FB in China, huuuuge market.

He and his wife tried very ham-handedly to SUCK UP to the Chinese Premier, Xi Jinping:

“Will you name our first-born child for us, PLEASSSE..?!”

Since he barely knew them, he was horrified, of course, and declined.

Leaders set the culture? So Hitler really did live out his dreams of being an artist? Because he dictated what was and was not acceptable art?

Fascistbook needs to die off like Myspace and Friendster before it.

It isn't "forever" frat boy.

Guess he feels like a god, not my God!!

Actually he is falling right into Satan’s hands and like other’s have said he fails largely at The Golden Rule.

Suckberger was raised as a cultural Jew. What in the name of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik, would he know about church? Go back behind your wall in Hawaii.

There are 2.1 billion Christians in the world.

There are 2 billion Facebook members in the world.

I never signed up for FakeBoobs because the couple times I cruised someone else’s account, I noticed that FB is loaded with the kind of people I would cross the street to avoid recognizing, much less talk with: strident left-wing nuts and tools, some of the worse bigots in the political world.

So their spiritual leader, callow young Master Zuckerberg sees himself as some benevolent, world e-Jim Jones?
He can kiss my cracked ***. I will never walk under the FB yoke or `like’ anything about ad-loaded FB. (grrrrr)

And you’d be wrong, heathen. I’ve never been to a church where they livestreamed murders and suicides. Facebook mostly exposes the worsts in us. Churches inspire to bring out the best in us.

“What a very stupid, shallow, little man...”

Reminds me of the old expression: “If only we could buy him for what he is worth and sell him for what he thinks he is worth...”

The little prick truly thinks he is a messiah.

A lot of “mega churches” are just a brick and mortar FB.

This little man child was driving around Iowa a week or so ago stopping in small communities to attempt to connect with “ real” people. Of course, I think he made sure any local media knew about it. My guess is the vast majority of people would not know who the hell he is if he didn’t tell them. And he made sure to tell them!

What a fantastic saying...and oh how I wish we could do that!

He's really an idiot, who did NOT think up "FB", but stole the idea and profited greatly for his sins.

Yes, he does imagine that he's "all that"; when in reality. he's a big fat nothing, with a lot of money and no brains/sense at all.

And now he proposes a “new kind of church.” In reality, he is proposing a cult. He might want to take another look at David Koresh for a review of how that worked out.
