The Trump administration on Tuesday began the process of formally rescinding the highly controversial Waters of the U.S. rule, an Obama-era regulation that gave Washington broad powers over streams and other small bodies of water across the country.
The rule, put forth in 2015 but subsequently stayed by the Supreme Court before going into effect, was one of EPA Administrator Scott Pruitts top targets when he took the helm at the agency. President Trump earlier this year signed an executive order directing Mr. Pruitt to review the rule, and with Tuesdays action, the EPA says its finalized that review and will move to permanently strike the regulation from the books.

Trump’s EPA changes have largely flown under the radar but they are by far the biggest and most important changes for the US economy.

How will I be able to properly care for the puddle that shows up in my back yard when we have rain? Every few years it rains hard enough that my puddle connects to a river so it needs to be regulated as “navigable water” (even though I can still step over it). We’re doomed /sarc

Why does the EPA want to kill maxine waters?

And that control meant money — dirty, corrupt, crooked money.

This kind stuff is why I voted for Trump.
If his Presidency consisted of nothing more than striking decades of Federal laws from the books, it would be a success.
He doesn't need to enact a single piece of new legislation. All he needs to do is get rid of old ones.

Now if we could only get at the original Nixon-era overreach that the EPA itself represents.

But the EPA was doing so good with the “All Your Waters Belong to Us” act. Only one river ecosystem was destroyed.

Is this the same stupid regulation they used to hit that rancher in Wyoming who built a duck pond on his property?
