Alyssa Milano excluded Sen. Ted Cruz from a virtual group hug. On Tuesday, the politically active actress tweeted, Group hug. Get in to her more than 3 million followers after Jon Ossoff lost the special Congressional election in Georgia to his Republican challenger Karen Handel. Then on Thursday, as senate Republicans introduced their new healthcare bill, with which Cruz has taken some issue, he retweeted Milano with the message, We all need a hug, along with a winking emoji.
But the Charmed star wasnt having it. Milano replied to the Texas senator, Not you, @tedcruz. Youre not invited, also with a winking emoji. Twenty minutes later, Milano tweeted a more conciliatory message. She wrote, @tedcruz but anytime you want to get together to talk about your duty to your constituents, Id love to chat. People before party. Cruz has not responded to Milanos initial diss or subsequent offer to discuss issues.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Handel defeated Ossoff despite Hollywood stars, including Milano, urging their followers to vote for the young Democrat. Leading up to Tuesdays special election, the actress repeatedly tweeted the hashtags, #flipthe6th, referring to the suburban Atlanta district that was up for grabs, as well as the more cheeky #VoteYourOsoff. In the end, though, Ossoff lost in what became the most expensive Congressional race in history, while Handel became the first female Republican to hold a seat in the House of Representatives.
Earlier on Thursday, Republican senators introduced a new healthcare bill known as the Better Care Reconciliation Act of 2017, but Cruz and a number of his colleagues, including Rand Paul, noted they would not vote in favor of it in its current iteration. They said they were open to negotiation. And while they felt it was an improvement to our current situation, Cruz and the other senator felt it doesnt go far enough to repeal Obamacare and lower [Americans] healthcare costs.
See the actress and the senators tweets below. Gossip Cop will update if Cruz and Milano further engage on Twitter.
Ping.
Shoes do not fit her at all.
Redhead and freckles, good combo of a nice looking woman, too bad for her being on the far left.
What did he expect? She’s a liberal fascist.
She forgot she was supposed to use the immense power of her looks to marry a Republican multi-millionaire when she was in her twenties - and not to pretend that such a temporary condition entitles her to continue expressing vapid political opinions long after her expiration date. :)
I guess this brain dead washed up “actress” has nothing better to do with her time. What a loser....and so is Assoff.
Why is Cruz even communicating with Hollyweirdos?
Stupid pretty girl. The socialists want your money.
Thanks.
She’s broke get into politics and use other peoples money and become rich
“despite Hollywood stars, including Milano, urging their followers to vote for the young Democrat”
THIS is the difference between Liberals and Conservatives...
They have to be TOLD who to vote for, we KNOW who to vote for.
A virtual group hug from an authentic idiot, I wonder if Cruz is virtually amused at be excluded from an imaginary act.
Why participate in a group hug for Pajama-Boy Ossoff? His loss is a cause for celebration.
>>Nothing funnier than a Democrat saying people before party.
Democrat Party, Communist Party, Socialist Party, Green Party, Workers’ World Party, Socialist Workers’ Party, “we’re all in this TOGETHER!”
Leftists are so nice, tolerant and diverse.. just like they always say they are! /s
Haha, nice ol’ gropey joe.
Another “ditzy” Hollyweird bitch who doesn’t have the brains God gave a goose.
She’s a smart one (snicker)
Seriously, her start is so dim she couldn’t get a role in Sharknado....
He’s dumb for retweeting a communist anyway.
