Not only a government office shrinking, but apparently not even having to stay open to handle its own layoff workers.

Blue Oyster Cult: Cagey Cretins
Artist: Blue Öyster Cult
Album: Secret Treaties
Released: 1974
Genre: Classic metal

Oh cagey, what you got?
What you got there dummy? What you got there man?
Oh cagey, what you got?
What you got there honey? What is it a worm?

Dumb clouds are raging, stupid clouds at my door
Creepy weather coming, hanging ‘round my floor
Dumb clouds stay away, and don’t come back no more

Oh cagey, what you got?
Got an awful tummy, Oh no it’s inflamed
Oh cagey, what you got?
It’s so lonely honey, in the state of Maine

Dumb clouds are raging, stupid clouds at my door
Creepy weather coming, hanging ‘round my floor
Dumb clouds stay away, and don’t come back no more

I’m graduating in one more term
Because I haven’t any time to burn
Repeating taste of hi-heeled shoe
An eel is waiting under the train
Being chased around by the neighbor’s cat
Well it’s so lonely in the state of Maine

Dumb bells are ringing, ringing in my ear
Mother’s wombs are crying, ringing in my fear
Mother’s never run, except when rape is near

Oh cagey
Oh cagey
Oh cagey

You’ll have no problem buying it you read a little bit about one of the greatest men in this country, the governor of Maine Paul LePage.

In fact, people are finding jobs so quickly, the Labor Department is now having to laid off employees.

Well, did they did a proper study to determine what these numbers meaned?

Maybe the President can add Maine’s 2 at-large EVs to his tally in 2020.

“Is at a 32-year low right now..”

“Maine Labor Department officials say the unemployment rate right now may be the lowest since World War II..”

Hmmm... Am I missing something here? Wouldn’t this be easily quantifiable?

Unemployment offices are Federally funded. The funding is based on workload. I worked for one in the 80’s. We had a lay off of nearly everyone with under 10 years of service.

What, and do actual research? The article is written by a journolist. 'nuff said.

Indeed, going back to WW-II would mean combining computer-era data with dubious paper records.

Any day that government “workers” are “let go” is a good day.

He should defeat that squishy fraud, Sen. Angus King. Last I heard, LePage very well may run against him.

I live in Maine.

For the last few years, Gov. LePage was expected to challenge Angus King for the Senate next year.

However, LePage recently announced that he will NOT run for the Senate, He said he wants to concentrate on getting his agenda passed during his last year in office (Maine has term limits).

I hope he changes his mind and challenges King.
