So much for defanging the poisonous debate in Washington.
Dozens of congressional staffers erupted into boos, jeers and even vulgar gesticulations Thursday when President Trump appeared in a video at the Congressional Baseball Game at Nationals Park.
Mr. Trump delivered a message of unity, but some fans in the stands weren’t having any of it.
One man shouted an expletive at the video screen as Mr. Trump was telling the fans: “We are showing the world we will not be intimidated by threats.”
The episode marred what had been a night celebrating those wounded in Wednesday’s murderous attack on GOP players practicing for the game.

In theory, the crowd was going wild when Rats scored during the game. Republicans not so much. Maybe they gave away tickets to the less fortunate DC crowd whom votes 92 to 8 on election day.
So how long did their sorry state of affairs last? They want to get along for an hour? The congresspersons could control their staffers if they wanted to. Getting so I don’t want to turn the tv on any news ever again... i’m down to watching OLD reruns of safe shows.
The tv was on and I gave it a chance on Fox.. bret was NOT on... what I saw was if they were going to say the hate speech was out there and so much of it.. mara had to say it was on both sides. Just please tell me where I missed the late night shows where the conservatives lit into the libs... and tell me what news program that the conservatives give the news and threaten the libs... tell me where did I miss what mara claims she knows!

The Grey Men; the ones who have finally had enough of watching their country be torn apart by left wing progressives. Most have military experience, some have very highly specialized experience.
They blend into the background watching, learning, taking careful note of who is who, chains of command, habits, haunts, and associates. They plan carefully and move silently.
And they wait for their opportunity patiently. Then when the violent Antifa scum are holed up in their rat warrens getting drunk and high, buggering each other, and congratulating themselves for beating up defenseless old men, the Grey Men come.
No one hears them arrive. One moment they are not there. The next, they are. The deed is done quickly, quietly, and with remorseless efficiency. None are left to tell what happened.
Then the Grey Men fade back into obscurity until the next time.
And there will be one.

When I drove by Nationals’ park about 4:30 this afternoon, there weren’t that many folks walking toward it from the normal parking areas down by Buzzard’s point. I’m not sure if it was open to the general public for ticket sales.
