In a dramatic turnaround, a federal judge has ruled that permits to complete the Dakota Access Pipeline must be reconsidered, and the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe has demanded the flow of oil through the pipeline be stopped.

Excellent decision by the judge, now he and he alone will be responsible for any leaks or damaged caused by the pipeline. Anybody who knows anything about pipelines know that the worst thing you can do is leave it stagnate with fluid in it, hydrogen sulfide and salt water works magic on steel. Why do tank battery’s always get leaks at the bottom? Because that’s where then salt water settles and corrodes the steel. This judge is an absolute genius!

The oil’s been flowing for a month. The tribe is ticked because they wanted to get a “percentage” for oil crossing their land. It was too high, so the pipeline bypassed their land. Now they’re mad because instead of getting the up-front lump sum offered, they get nothing.

If we win an election and install a conservative president, we nevertheless find the deep administrative branch continues unchecked. If we somehow check the bureaucrats, we find that we have lost the battle in Congress, even though we have elected a Republican House and Republican Senate. If we win the White House, the Congress, and even manage to rein in deep state bureaucrats, we lose the battle in the courts.

Well for one thing, trump could fill the 100+ vacancies all over the country. So far, he’s given 10 names. This would have been my priority as president going out of the gate. Judges affect things more then any EO or bill. Obama did nothing but he did make judges a priority which will screw up everything for decades.
