Washington (CNN)Attorney General Jeff Sessions will testify at a public hearing of the Senate intelligence committee Tuesday afternoon, the committee said in a statement.

His switch from the Judiciary Committee to Intelligence and his request for an open session suggest to me that he wants to publicly respond to Comey. I hope that I am right.
Re the link:
he wasn’t bowing to pressure - he wanted to do this.
That's risible! Don't let his demeanor and delivery substitute for his mission and determination. He's damn cynical. He's referred to the open bporders group as "masters of the universe," just to pick one example.
I think he’s going to further expose the rat Comey.
He mentioned the Comey testimony in his letters to the committees, where he changed his schedule. Darn right he wants to publicly respond to Comey.
One can only hope
“Is there no end to Sessions capitulations?”
Apparently not. Sessions needs to recuse himself, permanently.
Since he isn’t there to bash Trump, ABC-CBS-NBC will ignore the event.
i think you are right.
I also think that we will all be pleasantly surprised by the direction things take.
Trump is running this and he will not behave like previous admins... ducking from this. He will come after them both barrels and this is going to be part of it IMO. I really hope...
“We dont know what he is going to be asked, or what his opening statement will be. He may contradict Comeys sworn testimony, throwing the question about credibility into the court of public opinion.”
From my understanding he wants to refute some of Comey’s testimony. Now do the Republican Senators have the balls to ask the right questions?
I think hes going to further expose the rat Comey.....
I do too.
Comey worked for sessions, so when Comey was fired in CA, I believe the DOJ had the right to seize all materials in Comey’s office so they could return his personal items to him.
Wonder what they found...
No. I went to look. Apparently it has always been in question as to whether opened or closed.

Have there been any leaks from Comey’s closed session testimony last week?
Sessions gets an opening statement. He doesn’t have to wait for questions.
I call Comey a Clinton Loyalist.
Sessions needs to be asked about this:

I wonder if he and Trump might have met to discuss declassification of any information, where President Trump may have provided written authorization to AG Sessions to consider certain facts, maybe even specified in the letter, to be declassified, in the public interest.
Deep swamp has been hiding behind classification in order to juice up the innuendo.
Good Question!
