Comey worked for sessions, so when Comey was fired in CA, I believe the DOJ had the right to seize all materials in Comey’s office so they could return his personal items to him.

A senator is going to ask the head of the DOJ questions regarding a bogus issue that was perpetuated by Clinton and Podesta to deflect attention from their crimes.
For Sessions, this is easy. Nothing was found, shutting down investigation. Only crime that was identified from the investigation was the unmasking of individulas by Obama’s staff and Hillary’s servers, the teams that maintained them and the lapses, both accidental and purposeful that occurred during Obama’s presidency. That will be investigated to see the role in the CLinton Foundation and if any of the leaks gave Hillary an unfair advantage over Bernie.
Maybe Comey had some tapes.
