Sheriff: Be Armed, Be Mentally Prepared, Make Terrorists Defend Their Lives for a Change

Florida’s Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey is urging law-abiding Americans to arm up, get familiar with their firearm, and be ready to make terrorists worry about defending their own lives, for a change.

Ivey made these comments in a video he posted to Facebook in reaction to the horrendous attacks on unarmed, law-abiding Londoners. Looking at terror attacks around the world, Ivey observed:

Terrorists and active shooters are using every weapon available to target citizens. Guns, knives, trucks, hammers, and even explosives have all become the weapon of choice for murderers who only have one goal–killing innocent and law-abiding citizens. It seems that almost everyday we hear of another attack taking place at a concert, tourist destination, church, business, or anywhere else in the world where they can strike fear in the hearts of citizens.

Nice going there Sheriff Wayne. We had the honor of knowing of Wayne and a lot of Brevard Sheriffs officers while we still lived in Brevard County FL. Seems like he's taking notes from the Czechs on this.

Wayne is a racist Islamophobe who needs to be jailed for his anti-religious views. Muslims have a right to believe what they believe and the sheriff is NOT allowed by our Constitution to say otherwise.

Now— FReepers (and especially 2nd Amend. activists)— we must be prepared to DEFEND this man and his instructions to a legally ARMED citizenry (in the classic liberal argument that the only people meant to be armed by the 2nd Amendment was the “militia”— they say now this means only the national guard! When, in fact, the “militia” is in the Federalist papers and other citings as being and meaning “all able bodied citizens”... that is the reference to “....the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”).

She shoved the maid down a flight of stairs in the Grand Cypress, and they called the OC Sheriff officers.
