One of the most interesting new disclosures today in the Comey hearing was the admission by former FBI Director James Comey that he intentionally used a friend on the Columbia law faculty to leak his memos to the media. Comey says that he did so to force the appointment of a Special Counsel. However, those memos could be viewed as a government record and potential evidence in a criminal investigation.

Passivity won’t cut it . We need a head-ripper !
Yes he would. A great choice as he is very intelligent, and is a pit bull!
I was involved with a lawsuit where the opposite side had five lawyers,.all
five homo males. Comey reminds me of them. Articulate dishonest and queer.
As soon as he posted his notes yesterday...I said....oh my..he has suicide in the back of his mind.
Yes! Brilliant observation and excellent analysis of how that tactic can shape a *positive* inference, among observers.
Thanks for that informative analysis!
I think he’s a man of low character and I’m glad he’s not in charge of the Federal Bureau of investigation any longer.
That's the Big Story here!!!!!! ...THE SWAMP!
Amen!!!!!!!!!!!
Comey opened Pandora’s box on himself.
The FBI was run into the ground by Comey.
Comey had no “intent” to break the law, end of story. It’s the Hitlery defense.
I agree, equal justice demands that Jeff either arrest comey of release Reality.
I just saw a clip (shown on Charles Payne evening show) of Sen. Burr winking (yes, WINKING) at Comey at the hearing today. Burr gave Comey a wink and a nod at the table where Comey was interviewed by Committee. I’m not kidding.
I don’t know but he’s sure not Catholic!
I think you are on to something.
With many employers I have signed more often than not an agreement that all such products containing company private information belong to the company and cannot be disclosed. And upon my termination I must surrender all such items. I was wondering also if Comey, who recorded the content of his duscussion with POTUS, whether he was in fact leaking "work product" similarly covered by agreement.
He should have turned over ALL such product on his departure. He may have created them, but they are not "his".
He should be prosecuted. He clearly stated his "intent" to leak secure information.
So much for the tough FBI image. I would never believe that the FBI could be run by such a whining pussy.
That is what I keep saying. Hiding in the curtains. Afraid to meet Trump one on one. Leaking through a third party.
Whining pussy is right. This guy was the FBI Director?
NO WAIT!!!
Make that 2 seconds, not 2 minutes!
Everything he says is picked apart and attacked so why give his enemies something else to work with?
He could have just said nothing or something like "I just decided I would like a change in leadership in the FBI."
He's delusional, he said Trump lied when he said the FBI needed better leadership and was in need of better direction. Sheesh, the only thing this guy led at was leaking, pathetic.
That is the most disappointing thing about Trump. As a new CEO of a hostile organization, he knew he had to get rid of the obama holdovers, dem loyalists, and many assorted enemies. Why didn’t he do that?
My guess is that he was warned against it by the old guard he took into his inner circle.
People like Prebus.....
As the new guy on the block he had to have some people who knew their way around the system and where all the levers, buttons, traps and pitfalls are located.
The problem is, the old guard he had/has to rely on are the same people who fought him tooth and nail.
And that is the poison pill in the system that they use to co-opt every bright-eyed reformer who comes to Washington to change the system.
