NAVIGATION
Navigation of a ship at sea is, in principle, a very simple matter: you plot a course between where you are and where you want to be, and let the propeller muscle the ship through the water. As simple as that seems, it wont happen without another very important element: the rudder! The rudder performs its quiet, steady work, unshaken by the tremendous pressures directed against it. And it must hold the true course without deviation.
The navigation of a human life is also, in principle, a very simple matter. As with a ship, there must be motivation and direction. Sea service men and women have shown no shortage of drive, but far too many who abound with energy have experienced the tragic results of inattention to their moral compass.
When a ship drifts off course, the order Mind your helm! quickly follows: Pay attention to your rudders position! The same order in your personal life (Pay attention to moral attitudes and actions.) is a call to mind the moral helm in your life. This internal rudder must be able to withstand the powerful forces that will otherwise constantly push you off your safe and proper course. The proven moral and spiritual values of our heritage provide excellent tools to help you sail a true course, whatever the state of the seas.

They’re cute and that’s what will help them survive. They’re pure terrorists. LOL! They are too wild!
Tortie-and-whites are really pretty and this Holli looks a lot like another Holli we had. She lived to be 17 so I figured it’s kind of a good luck name for this lil girlie. May she live to a ripe old age too.

NO!!!!!!!! LOL! They don’t even have run of the room yet.
They have two large boxes taped together to make a nice big romper room for now. They’d be able to climb up on the bed and are still stupid about the edge of it. Too small for such a drop at this point. Don’t want any broken bones. I take them out to play several times a day to let them burn some steam off and they have toys in the box to play with.
But sooner than I’d like ....

Having a mouser around comes in mighty handy sometimes. Sounds like yours showed up at the right time if there’s a mouse population boom. Go get ‘em, girl!

I hope so but it’s not a given. We have some that are over 10 yrs. old who are just as rowdy as they were when they were young.

So true. Thank goodness these two of mine mostly sleep. LOL!
I did get to sleep without Peaches last night, BTW. Slept good, too!
We just got some rain. Not sure how much. There are still clouds in the area.

Fortunately a lot of ours spend a lot of time sleeping, like yours, and that’s a GOOD thing. If ALL of them were rowdies, we wouldn’t survive. LOL!
YAY for your rain but is it going to run Peaches inside for the night? Hope not!
No rain here today. It was hot and very muggy. They still say we’ll get rain tomorrow, coming up from the south.

Glad she was able to save the owl! Those sticky strips really hang on to whatever touches them.
