Listen to the responses from participating EU corporate comptrollers discussing climate and the entire purpose of the Paris Treaty becomes self-evident. Example:
The preservation of our competitive position is the precondition for successful climate protection. This correlation is often underestimated.
~ Matthias Wissmann, President of German Auto Industry Group VDA
The preservation of Germanys competitive auto manufacturing position is contingent upon the U.S. exporting its wealth and handcuffing itself to a faux-climate treaty. Do not take my word for it, read Wissmanns own interview. The Paris Treaty is nothing about climate, and everything about economics and multinational corporate interests.
2016 -Billionaires, tech CEOs and top members of the Republican establishment flew to a private island resort off the coast of Georgia this weekend for the American Enterprise Institutes annual World Forum, according to sources familiar with the secretive gathering.
The main topic at the closed-to-the-press confab? How to stop Republican front-runner Donald Trump. (The meeting was not planned to be a strategy session on how to stop the GOP front-runner, but rather evolved into one, as a subsequently obtained agenda makes clear.)
Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google co-founder Larry Page, Napster creator and Facebook investor Sean Parker, and Tesla Motors and SpaceX honcho Elon Musk all attended.
So did Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), political guru Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan, GOP Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Rob Portman (Ohio) and Ben Sasse (Neb.), who recently made news by saying he cannot support Donald Trump.
Along with Ryan, the House was represented by Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Fred Upton (Mich.), Rep. Kevin Brady (Texas) and almost-Speaker Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), sources said, along with leadership figure Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Wash.), Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price (R-Ga.), Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (Texas) and Diane Black (Tenn.).
Philip Anschutz, the billionaire GOP donor whose company owns a stake in Sea Island, was also there, along with Democratic Rep. John Delaney, who represents Maryland. Arthur Sulzberger, the publisher of The New York Times, was there, too, a Times spokeswoman confirmed.

Pay attention to the voices now shouting opposition to President Trumps withdrawal from the Paris Climate Treaty and you will identify those same oppositional voices who assembled in all economic matters prior to this moment in 2017. Their vested interests center around the economics, not the climate.

Affirmation of the #ParisAgreement is not only about the climate: It is also about America remaining the global leader.

Sundance hits this out of the park!!!
So glad the POTUS got us out of this mess!!!!
We dodged a bullet for hopefully 8 years.
Best election, best POTUS, evah!!
That’s what has them upset...show me the money!
KA-BOOOM! Expose em ALL!
It will take a while to put a halt to all of this but I hope Trump hires some of his CEO, CFO Management type friends to form a special committee to cut the crap. Trillions could be saved and taxes decreased.
Income redistribution is theft of our hard earned tax dollars. A big second look at all the foreign aid too.
The article may be incorrect. The Green Climate Fund’s web site shows which nations have made pledges AND which nations have already disbursed monetary contributions to the Climate Green Fund:

Fantastic piece!
I fear for President Trump’s safety.
With over 65 million + people praying for him everyday, and all day and night...The Lord has His Hands on Our President...
“All other nations “ seems to be incorrect. But the graph presented is accurate.
YOU are a terrible troll. I hope your days here are numbered.
Viking Kitties need to chomp your wretched ass OFF.
You are correct. The article is incorrect. Notwithstanding the ridiculous conspiracy theories that Sundance continually makes up.
I heard Bloomberg said he’ll pay the US cost personally. Can’t wait to see what he says about the 3 billion loss instead of 15 million.
Half a billion dollars here and another half billion dollars there and we’re talking about big money.
So Bot when is Obama going to make healthcare less expensive for the paying citizen consumers?
The Europeans have been living on the backs of US taxpayers since 1941.
How many trillions of dollars have been spent supporting Europe in different ways over that time?
The amount is so huge and hidden in so many ways that it is damn near uncountable
There would not be a NATO without the US taxpayer.
There would not be a United Nations without the US taxpayer.
Europeans would all be speaking German or living under the rule of the old USSR if it wasn't for the US taxpayer.
Now they look down their inbred noses at us and our president.
“A specter was haunting the World Forum the specter of Donald Trump...”
BOO! Jerks.
Best. Election. Ever. EVER!
*TRUMP BUMP*
