Ivanka Tweets Support for LGBTQ Friends, Gets Slammed

Ivanka Trump has been quiet on Twitter the past few days while observing the Jewish holiday Shavuot.

On Thursday, she broke her silence, sending out messages of support for her LGBTQ friends.

"Logging back on after Shavuot, wishing everyone a joyful #Pride2017," Ivanka wrote in the first tweet. "This month we celebrate and honor the #LGBTQ community."

"I am proud to support my LGBTQ friends," Ivanka shared in the second, "and the LGBTQ Americans who have made immense contributions to our society and economy."

The shout-out to gay rights backfired. Many slammed her for tweeting about Pride Month hours after her father, President Donald Trump, announced his decision to pull the United States out of the Paris climate agreement.

Firstly what a hypocrite. Staying quiet to celebrate a Jewish holiday in reverence to it then coming out for a perverse stance for the queers in this Nation that try to pervert our younger generation. We do not need a person this close to President Trump's ear.

Secondly, we in America have an entire MONTH that pays tribute to 3-4% of American Citizens that are perverted QUEERS that are perverse and do not know what sex they were born with. Then we sit back AND only give ONE day for our Creator, our founding, and our fallen.

Something is screwed up about this and if anyone that has President Trump's ear and is reading this, that does not support these queers and has the cajones to do something about it, and him to come out with an EO nullifying this perverted month of celebration for these queers.

WE should not have a month set aside celebrating an unGodly act.

Regardless of how I may personally feel about ones sexual proclivities, i do believe that supporting ppl in general is Christian and therefore falls in line with my faith walk and those of the Jewish faith, as well. What I don’t agree with are special days and parades etc for one’s sexual orientation etc When is the next straight parade? The next WASP day?
Exactly.
I have no issue with Ivanka being a caring and supportive person to those who may live a lifestyle outside of her faith...God will judge thoze individuals ...not us.
