Comedian Kathy Griffin held a press conference Friday with her attorney regarding the backlash surrounding the image of her holding up a faux severed head of President Donald Trump.
During her opening statement, Griffin said the reaction from the White House is something that has never been seen before.
"A sitting president of the United States and his grown children and the first lady are personally—I feel—personally trying to ruin my life forever. Forever," the comic said. "You guys know him, he's never going to stop."
Since images and video of her controversial photo shoot were posted earlier this week, Griffin has been fired from CNN's New Year's Eve coverage team, and Sen. Al Franken (D., Minn.) has canceled an upcoming appearance with Griffin.

As much as I would like to credit Trump with ruining something as loathsome as her and her career, I think full credit belongs with Griffin herself.
I’m going to say quite frankly how I see it. She threw out there that somebody should behead President Trump. Currently we are at war with radicalized Islam and ISIS that do exactly what she demonstrated.
So, as far as I’m concerned, she is a F’ing ISIS C’nt Spokesperson. Drop a Jdam on her ass.
She brought it on herself. She knew what she was doing and she knew what the fallout would be. She set the trap and now she thinks the Trumps stepped in it and she can claim to be a victim. I don’t think a jury could ever rule in her favor.

Yesterday, I was asked to be a technical advisor for a corporate product video for my company. We used a professional film producer.
I actually ended up being the stunt double for close ups because the actor couldn’t really use our product all that well.
I went voluntarily. I drove myself and unlike Griffin, don’t think my company was trying to ruin me because I did the whole thing voluntarily.
I’ve also been the on-screen “talent” for several video’s. it’s not really all that much fun.
My video’s were on store monitors for a while. Once I stood next to a monitor while my video was playing for ten minutes waiting for anyone to notice it was me. Nope. No one did.
The one thing i know is that despite all surface evidence, Kathy is a real woman.
She pulls a stunt that backfires huge on her, and instead of owing it and taking responsibility for the consequences, blames the guy she pulled the stunt on for “ruining her”. See now she is no longer responsible for messing up her own life. That would mean she would have to feel bad things about herself and her image of herself, and that is to be avoided at all costs. It must be someone else’s fault.
Just like Hillary.
