WassermanSchultz Admits Hill IT Security Violations, Blames House Administrators For Not StoppingHer

Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, whose office equipment U.S. Capitol Police seized in a criminal investigation into congressional network security violations, admitted she violates official information security policy and blamed the House’s chief administrative officer for not stopping her.

In a May 17 appropriations hearing on Congress’ administrative budget, Wasserman Shultz said she had violated the policies “for years and years and years.” She also sought to find out how much House authorities might know about her internet usage, asking “Are members monitored?”

Police are investigating Wasserman Schultz’s longtime information technology (IT) aide Imran Awan for theft and funneling congressional data from members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Committee on Homeland Security and Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Yet Wasserman Schultz lashed out at investigators and changed Awan’s title to “adviser” instead of firing him after House authorities banned him from the network. She resigned as Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman in July 2016 after unidentified hackers accessed the DNC’s emails, which Wikileaks later published.

(HAT TIP BOOKSHELF) Here’s how to handle it:

<><> About half of House Republicans have signed a letter urging we cut off all aid to Pakistan. They consider it a terrorist-sponsoring nation.

<><> T-Rex calls in the Paki Ambassador, and speaking privately. gives him one week to show up with Wasserman-Schultz’s Haki/Pakis.

<><> Either that or State will support adding Pak to terrorist list.

<><> When the Haki/Pakis appear in his office (as they surely would), T-Rex turns them over to Justice (not the FBI).

<><>Attny Gen then oversees the case and the FBI is given a time certain to provide evidence so they can't Mafia it out.

Her contractors were stealing information from congress’s committees - espionage - and to protect the contractor she re-titles him “advisor”. That makes her complicit.

DWS set up her Muslim Brotherhood spy ring under the watchful eyes of Pres. GW Bush and House Speaker Dennis Hastert, and FBI Director Robert Mueller.

Yes, the Muslim spy ring has been going on that long.

It's like a criminal's desperate plea to say, "Ok, Im guilty, but they knew I was going to do it and nobody tried to stop me, so I'm innocent I tell ya!"

This broad is giving Pelosi and Maxine Waters and Donna Brasille a run for their money for being the queen of stupid!

Before anyone gets too excited about this latest display of stupidity on the part of a Democrat, one should consider the context in which the quote “for years and years” is found and what exactly she’s complaining about when she blamed the IT chief for her stupidity.

The context of this entire exchange is that of using Dropbox, a cloud based file sharing system of which I’m sure many reading this are aware.

So what she was saying when she was saying “(I’ve been doing this) for years and years” is she was saying she was using Dropbox for years and years. It’s not clear if she meant that as just using the service for that long or actually using the service for storing sensitive Congressional documents for that long. But it really doesn’t matter.

Her complaint to the IT chief that this “policy” wasn’t communicated to every House member, “only” to each member’s IT head, and this is key, was to complain that the policy forbidding use of Dropbox (DUH) to store important (supposed to be) secure government data, enacted only LAST OCTOBER (DOUBLE DUH) that policy wasn’t clearly (”clearly” according to Wasserdunderhead) communicated to every House member. It was “only” given to each House memeber’s IT staff who was then to communicate said policy to everyone else in each member’s office. And that’s Wasserbubblehead’s complaint: she’s saying with all her stupidity on full display: “this policy fobidding Dropbox use by House members while on the secure network should have been better communicated than it was”

She’s saying that to cover her &$$, because she now realizes she was using Dropbox AFTER the policy was officially enacted (Oct 2016).

Two things obviously stupid (beyond Wasserman herself of course): ONE, that anyone in Congress would even THINK of using Dropbox, or any other third party file sharing app, WHILE on the “secure” network of the House AND use it to store apparently sensitive Congressional documents!!

On top of all that it took the IT geniuses until October of 2016 to realize Dropbox (and any other file sharing app) might actually be a security risk!!! (DUHHHHHH)

This is your government at work people. It’s a wonder the entire world doesn’t know every secret we have (who knows maybe they do!)

But with all that stupidity on display, one thing remains: Wasserman is cunning enough (I won’t say “smart” because she’s stupid obviously) but cunning enough to realize that if she can make enough hay out of this “communication of important policy” issue, if she can open that door wide enough, she’ll be able to squeak her stupid use of Dropbox “for years and years” while on the government network through that opening and possibly even get her criminal “aide” off the hook.

So that’s what’s going on there, and because the government IT guys were too stupid to realize in the beginning that third party file sharing apps MIGHT just be a security risk YEARS ago, this beastly “woman” can make enough of a case that she didn’t really violate any policy, at least not “intentionally”. And as we know that’s all it takes to get the pigs off of any charge on this Animal Farm.

And by the way, Debs, honey, while you’re busy instructing the IT department how best to do their job, you might want to investigate the technology known as a “hairdryer”.

(How that fresh from the shower look became even close to being fashionably acceptable certainly boggles at least my mind)

Debbie Wasserman Schultz threatened “consequences” for Capitol Police chief investigating her Muslim IT staffer.

As one of eight members of the Committee on Appropriations’ Legislative Branch subcommittee, Wasserman Schultz is in charge of the budget of the police force that is investigating her Muslim IT staffer.

In a highly unusual committee exchange, Schultz uses a hearing on the Capitol Police’s annual budget to spend three minutes repeatedly trying to extract a promise from the chief that he will return a piece of evidence being used to build an active case.

REALITY CHECK---Vasserman Schultz's paranoia about getting her laptopn back reminds me of Glinda The Good Witch advising Dorothy: "Keep tight inside those ruby slippers----they must be very powerful if the Wicked Witch of the West wants them so badly."

Bsides, if it was so important to Debbie, why didn't Debbie wasserman Schultz report her laptop missing to the Capitol Hill Police.....or to other L/E agencies? (smirk)

=======================================================

REFERENCE WikiLeaks show that:

<><> suspected Capitol IT staffer, Imran Awan, was employed by Cong Debbie Wassermann Schultz's taxpayer-funded House office....and by the DNC,

<><> Debbie herself got Imran his security clearances;

<><> the Florida Democrat mixed DNC, House, and DNC campaign business on her iPad......

<><> Debbie gave Imran her laptop passwpord...something even her staff did not have.

Questions have arisen as to and how Debbie got suckered into the Paki/Muslim clans' humongous salaries....earning an unprecedented 5 million tax dollars and obtaining top secret intel from Democrat House members that employed them.

Excellent deconstruction. Yet, I believe her constituents cant let cunning Debbie off the hook. Debbie is not in nursery school---she's a Congressman. She must be forced to take responsibility. Her constituents need the salient details.

Thanks for distilling my rant down to actionable talking points. Haha

Yeah that needs to get out to her constituents, that she was so stupid to use Dropbox “for years” on a government network and still used it even after the government IT guys told her not to and her only “excuse” is that instruction wasn’t communicated directly to each House member.

She’s an idiot who needs to hear the phrase “You’re fired” from her constituents.

Thanks Dave!

I’ve been following Webb, but really got turned off tonight. A few days ago Webb literally said Guccifer 2.0 was disinfo created by the DNC so they could change public perception of the soon to be released Wikileaks.
Well, they had a lady on who supposedly got a thumb drive from some DNC guy, who said he got it from Guccifer 2.0 website, but that didn’t make red flags go up. They’re literally still working on downloading the file right now and it’s really starting to feel like a larp.

That file was also uploaded to r/the_Donald back in Sept. It required a password, so if they somehow open it without mentioning that, thus whole Webb thing becomes even stranger. we went through all of it, but again Guccifer 2.0 is supposed to be nonsense from the DNC.

The story from about Wasserman using a voice changer from tonight also sounds like a larp, especially given the okey dokey bit at the end.

That said, daily caller stuff is obviously legit, because it has the video to prove their claims.
