Griffin apologized after having filmed a "making of" video for the photo shoot, wherein she said that if it was too controversial, she would just issue a "fake apology" and that would be the end of the matter.
So Griffin's apology is phony and disingenuous at best...
Her MGM/Mirage appearance was on May 26, before all this broke. Apparently, MGM has told people that she’ll never perform there again but I haven’t seen anything official from them yet.
I know the FBI does this frequently when there is public depictions of extreme violence and/or provocation of incitement involving public officials such as the President.

Just for posterity’s sake I would like to post my feedback comment to CNN:
Content and personnel managers at CNN. You need to immediately reverse course and emphatically denounce, reject and exclude Kathy Griffin from every aspect of your organization. She is unstable if at any moment she actually thought her depiction of beheading a sitting president could be tolerated. With CNN not having immediately condemned (it’s more than a mistake) her actions one can and should legitimately question each of your own personal stability, moral standards and subsequent lack of integrity. I am sickened to my core by the whole lot of you.
There, now I feel better.

Why did it take so long for CNN to cut ties? Who was the one who chose not to terminate it immediately?
Simulcast with Fox Business cable, so unless it is delayed, it went on the cable/DTV/Dish net.
She got her start playing a totally obnoxious performance artist on “Seinfeld”.
That and to try and manage the charade that they are a News Network.
The TV signal has delay..............
She might be able to get a gig on ABC’s The View. Then they could have a whole gaggle of unfunnies who call themselves comedians.
This will never die down. This is forever.
It was all fun and games, okay until ADT pulled their advertising bucks.
I’m sure ADT’s bucks were waaaaaay more that whatever they gave her................
We all know, this is eventually going to help her career.
In Hollywood, this would bump her up to the C-List in no time.
