Residents at three public housing areas now have a mini-fleet of free Zipcars to make their way around Sacramento. On Friday, Sacramento launched a pilot program that put eight shared electric Kia Souls at public housing sites. Up to 300 residents can apply for on-demand access to the vehicles, with no charge for maintenance, insurance or juicing up the battery.

How much do you want to bet that at least one will be a get-away car in a holdup?

There’s a reason restrooms in Germany either are pay-to-use or have an attendant present.

Trashed? More likely parted out for cash or drugs.

Is that anything like a zip Gun?
To: ARGLOCKGUY
Yes, they will be trashed and pottied within by the uncaring welfare rats.
Maybe the "maintenance" includes cleaning and replacing missing and stolen items.
That said, the progressives will just never understand that welfare rats need a much different message: instead of unending free stuff (including this car-commune) they desperately need high expectations to work hard and to live responsibly and to experience some pride of accomplishment and become productive elements of society.

According to the numbers, there are 1 cars for every 1000 residents.
Yeah, people won’t get stabbed, shot and slayed for a car. Nope, everything will be great.
I’m sure everyone will wait in line for their turn.

Now the boys from the hood can literally drive themselves to more affluent parts of Frisco to commit armed robberies and other lucrative crimes.
This will began to directly lower crime in the hood. /s
