WATERS: I don’t know what the reticent is but I know this, that the American public is getting weary of all of these actions without enough being done by the elected officials who they elected to represent them. I believe that this man has done enough for us to determine that we can connect the dots, that we can get the facts that will lead to impeachment. I believe there was collusion. I think we have enough information about the meetings, the about the lying about those meetings to help us to understand that something was going on. There was an interaction there. And certainly I believe it was collusion, but if they just do their work and do their job, they will find out it was collusion. And I believe this president should be impeached. I don’t care what others say about ‘it’s too soon, we don’t know, we think.’ I think that they’re letting the American public down by not delving deeper into what is going on with Jared Kushner and this back channeling, about the lies and his failure to disclose he had had these meetings, the same thing with sessions, failure to disclose about the meetings. What more do we need?

Think she said "reticence". But still doesn't make any sense...I think she meant the cause of the reticence of her colleagues.
For myself I am entertaining but two theories on this cause. One is that calls for impeachment polled badly. The other is fear there may be evidence damning to the swamp creatures themselves that was seized from Comey's office and now in possession of the DOJ.
So what exactly are you going to impeach him for Maxine? I don’t think you can impeach a President just because your candidate lost.

Maxine, some folks probably are upset Trump hasn’t been impeached yet. I will have to say that these people had quite unrealistic expectations based on what their political leaders told them. One could come to the conclusion you and others led them to think he would be. If so, that was a mistake.
Trump has not committed an impeachable offense. He hasn’t come close to it.
Your behavior however, has reached the level of being so vile and unacceptable that some folks are thinking you do not belong in a leadership position.
Ms. Waters, this isn’t based on skin color or the people you represent. It is based on your seeming inability to grasp what an impeachable offense is, or if in fact you do, your advocating for Trump’s impeachment despite him not have done something that warrants it.
You should not undermine our leaders, if they have only acted according to the U.S. Constitution and other laws that bind them, just because you don’t agree with their views.
It is however reasoned to ask if demanding impeachment when it isn’t warranted, isn’t itself an act that warrants removal or impeachment from elective office.
It serves to undermine our government in ways that is destructive. It does not serve our nation well.
It should be illegal for insane people to be in congess.

I think there will be a few less idiots come 2018. In the next month or so, the alphabets will have to finally admit that Trump is exonerated and the fun with investigating certain Dems and rinos collaborating with foreign agents on sedition will begin. And the Dems will hit the campaign trail without any means at all to justify to their voters why they spent the first six months of this admin chasing their tails over ghost stories instead of actually doing some people’s work. Not even dem voters like being played for the fool, and the Bernie Burn is stronger than ever, as seen in Calif just last week. Not to mention the demographics of Maxine’s district have changed.
Really, if one could ask for, indeed hand-craft, the caricature of a nitwit for the opposition party, one could not concoct anything as ridiculous as this woman. We should be happy to have such pathetic enemies.
