Yesterday a video of a Manchester, New Hampshire Committee meeting was posted to YouTube. The meeting took place on May 24th but there was extremely disturbing and interesting commentary made by a Manchester Alderman. Apparently, the topic was property taxes and tax credits for the elderly. The meeting was a Joint Committee Meeting on Education. Education being the largest chunk of expense for any property taxes.

Any country that allows and encourages murder of it’s unborn children and horribly disrespects it’s elderly enough to kick them out of their homes for the “public good” is doomed.
Republican said this, the MSM-Democrats would hang the quote around the neck of every Republican in the country.

What a typically preachy liberal that guy is. All he talked about the entire time was spending more money in spite of the fact that other municipal services appear to be costing a disproportional amount of money. Liberals always have the same mantra: tax more and spend more.

The "education" racket is insatiable for little to no return. It would be ironic if the over-housed occupant spouse was a former teacher.
Actually, the elderly are very cost-effective. They do not use the public school system.
FWIW, not in my neck of the woods. Most of our Medicaid load is indigent elderly. This bonehead may have a point to make, but he blew it big time with the way he made it.

This is but one reason why property taxes be a thing of the past, everything paid as service(s) rendered.
I highly doubt grand-mom/pa there have had kids, if any, in school for many an age; yet here is the govt wishing they’d move out so they can get more tax $$ to spend.
I’ve always thought the next Dim president we have for 8 yrs, God forbid, will get us closer to the point where they say, “Hey GnuThere, we can’t help but notice you’ve got a home there of XYZ sq feet; we really feel it would be better utilized by a welfare family of 10, so we’ve decided to give you 50 cents on the dollar for it. Of course you’re welcome to stay put, if you can pay the 10x increase in your property taxes...”
The idiot is not only riffing about one of his own neighbors (she must really like him after that comment), but he then goes on to say why don’t the elderly all leave and go down to Orlando with their own kind. Imagine if this was said about a racial minority.
Well the good Alderman was just espousing a rational economic thought regarding the municipality’s finances. (extreme sarcasm)

And to hear libtardsplain it, it’s rotten capitalist Republicans behind gentrification efforts from coast to coast. The property developers I see are Democrats and they are connected to Democrat city councilmembers and mayors.
They want your stuff because you’re just gon’ waste it anyhow (ask Hitlery Clinton herself).
This is a perfect example of why “progressives” hate property rights, and hate the Constitution.
Remember, Obama said that the Constitution is a document of “negative rights” because it limits what the government can do. That’s another example of progressive thought.
The only thing that progresses under progressives is the power and scope of the government, to the detriment of the “ultimate minority.” The individual.
