World Leaders “Failed To Persuade” Trump To Stay In Paris Climate Agreement

Reuters is reporting that President Trump has not changed his mind on the Paris Climate Deal, despite hours of talks on Friday while at the G7 Summit in Italy.

Germany described the talks as “controversial.”

Check it out:

Meeting days after a suicide bomber killed 22 people at a concert in northern England, the leaders did issue a joint statement on fighting terrorism, admonishing internet service providers and social media companies to “substantially increase” their efforts to rein in extremist content.

Host Paolo Gentiloni, the prime minister of Italy, said the group was also inching closer to finding common language on trade, a contentious issue between Trump – elected on an “America First” platform – and the six other leaders. But leadership conceded there was no breakthrough on the climate issue.

“There is one open question, which is the U.S. position on the Paris climate accords,” Gentiloni told reporters, referring to a 2015 deal on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. “All others have confirmed their total agreement on the accord.” President Trump campaigned on ending the U.S. role in the Paris Climate Deal.

Energy Secretary Rick Perry signaled that the administration would uphold this campaign promise while at a G7 event in Italy earlier this year. The administration refused to sign a memo following the April meeting because they’d not decided yet on the Paris agreement.

More here (via Daily Caller): Secretary of Energy Rick Perry said the U.S. “is in the process of reviewing many of its policies and reserves its position on this issue, which will be communicated at a future date,” Italy’s industry and energy minister Carlo Calenda said in a statement.

Calenda said other G7 members “reaffirmed their commitment towards the implementation of the Paris Agreement to effectively limit the increase in global temperature well below 2°C above pre-industrial level.”

The Trump administration would not sign onto a statement mentioning Paris, since the president is still deciding whether or not to keep his campaign pledge. Perry also wanted the G7 to include support for coal and natural gas in its statement.

My climate change plan is to move where it’s between 75 and 80 degrees most of the year. Preferably near a beach.

I retired last year to a place that meets all of your requirements. This is what we see from our bedroom window

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

We did not elect Ivanka and Jared. Now that the prince regent president-in—law is under investigation, it is best for the Trump administration that both he and Ivanka take leave of office until the investigation ends. If not, this is going to metastasize and wash out any of the administration accomplishments. We already saw how Jared’s sister was parlaying WH connections to get a boatload of HB 5-visas to Chinese who buy their Manhattan condos. Enough. We must demand they both leave the WH. Time to get on full speed with Trump’s agenda. No amnesty, build the wall, charge Mexico, and scrap the Paris accords.

Where is it? Looks like SoCal.

It has the weather and topography of SoCal but you get the million dollar views at 10 cents on the dollar. If you were so inclined you could actually swim in the sea for breakfast, ski all afternoon and be back for another swim after supper. My wife is a British national and lived with me in America for many years. We retired here so she could be closer to her Grandchildren in England but I wasn't about to put up with the dreary English weather.

Almuñecar, Spain

Looks like a nice place. I think my destination, however, is probably the coast of SoCal once they get rid of Moonbeam and the other Lying Leftsts in charge over there.

Spain is actually a lot closer to SoCal with the lying Leftists gone than you would imagine. It's also a lot cheaper. I wrote a thread called "Hello From Spain" a while back. If you ever get bored search for it.

I found it. Looks like a fun post/thread which I plan to read probably this Memorial Day weekend. I’ve also got Almunecar, Spain on my list of places to visit. Who knows, maybe I’ll see you there someday.

I think what God has for me mostly involves living in the U.S.A. but I love to travel and would have no problem staying at places like this for awhile if I felt like it.

Thanks for sharing.
