USAA, an insurance, bank and financial services company that caters to active duty military, veterans and their families, is getting slammed by members after announcing on Twitter Wednesday night the company was withdrawing advertising on the Sean Hannity show in response to pressure from liberal activists trying to silence Hannity by cutting off his advertising base. It was not stated by USAA if they advertised on Hannitys Fox News Channel show or his nationally syndicated radio show.
Hannity is a strong supporter of the military and veterans. He has a strong fan base among the military community.
The effort to drive Hannity off the air was promoted by Democratic Party front group Media Matters which posted a list of Hannitys advertisers this week for liberals to complain to after Hannity pursued the unsolved 2016 murder of Democratic Party activist Seth Rich in Washington, D.C. and possible connections to Wikileaks.

Direct TV and Optimum do. Consider changing to them. The market always wins.
Their PR company should be cc’d.
They specialize in “diversity” and “tearing down silos.”

I guess I will have to go back to Navy Federal.
“Why you want to poo poo my process is curious.”
Why?
Because it isnt going to accomplish anything.
If these people were all patriotic and apple pie, they would not have been pushed so easily by a Media Matters hit.
Our side needs to start treating all of these companies like we did Target.
Are you a USAA member? I am. Have been for over 30 years. Best insurance company in the business. I can almost guarantee USAA will lose zero business because of this. USAA members are about as loyal as they come.
I don't think you can know that. Further, I think it may. So I'm going to do that first. And you can't stop me :)
You can pay your own premium increase.
He should have been gone long ago. However not because of these fascist tactics though.
Hannity is a bore. His show offers nothing in the way of obtaining information. He repeats the same overused tiring talking points over and over again.
I’ve been a USAA Member for more than 40 years and agree about the loyalty of the customers - which has been based on the long term trustworthiness and loyalty of the company.
I’m starting with protests, but I will certainly consider reevaluating my relationships with USAA if they don’t back off the lefty capitulation.
I used to use investment products there, but their performance were not as good other options, so I moved that business years ago.
Insurance has been a different story, no one has better rates, coverage and service.
The link isn’t working on your post.
Sigh, as a former Army officer, that’s not an option for me....
USSA has their left leaning and diverse PR company answering Tweets and it’s not looking good.

Their PR company handles Tweets, it’s a low level staffer.
Be sure and call them also.
It stinks. I am have the same dilemma. However, I feel extremely betrayed.
These young idiots who think they know how to run the world, are now in charge of many of these fine companies... and are failing miserably due to the fact they know nothing about how things work in the real world.
I tweeted my response to usaa... I have had their credit card for many years. The 3 persons who sit in a room and send out all these complaints, make it look like they are many.. but they are but a few. Rush has investigated this and found that 3 people can shut down whatever they want, and it’s due to the younger generation who don’t know squat and are liberal to boot... and those 3 persons.
Their PR company handles their Twitter account. Be sure and ask them for an action. How are they going to fix this to retain your business and when can you expect someone from USAA to follow up with said action plan to correct this horrible mistake.
Joined USAA after joining USN in 1973, 44 years. Will begin shopping my business. Might find they have taken me for granted for to long.
Any recommendations?
Must be some Obama generals and admirals running the place.
I am a GEICO customer and I just sent GEICO the email message below and I suggest everyone snd them an email letting them know how they could win your business or if already a GEICO member tell them how they could make you happy. You don’t have to be a member or log in to send them a email. Just go to “customer service.”
“I am very happy with Geico and I see an opportunity for Geico to grow. You may have heard there are a large number of USAA members who are very unhappy because USAA cowered to the faciat group at Medica Matters and pull advertising for Sean Hannity. You could use this to your advantage by extending support of Hannity and possibly advertising on his show and then sending out mailers directed at current USAA customers letting them know you support them and Sean Hannity.”
That knee jerk response is wrong.
What's needed is for USAA members to contact the company and express their concern that they may be forced to leave if USAA doesn't change their position.
Give USAA time to correct the mistake while letting them know you're dissatisfied.
