ESPN's audience saw a decrease in conservative leaning viewers between 2015 and 2016, according to a new analysis.
Deep Root Analytics conducted the study which found that ESPN viewership in 34 of 43 television markets saw a decrease in Republican viewers between the years that kick-started the presidential campaigns and election.
Multiple channels in the ESPN family saw their viewership move to the left of the political spectrum. While ESPN and ESPN 2 saw just a 5 percent and 10 percent decrease in Republican viewers respectively, ESPN News viewership became 36 percent less Republican.
The decrease in conservative viewers was not specific to rural markets. New York City's television market, which saw only 36 percent of voters support President Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton, underwent a 7 percent decrease in conservative viewership. Similarly, Atlanta, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Tallahassee, and Washington D.C. all saw a decrease in conservative viewers.

I didn't either until this Manchester incident. But it is out there, and not as some hidden youthful indiscretion either.
These are the fruits of culturally Marxist, leftist control of society. "Standing united" with Manchester means supporting the right of a corporate-created porn star to promote herself to children on one hand, while troglodyte radical Muslims are allowed to roam free and set off bombs by the massive security state on the other hand. Are these our only two choices?

I wonder what could have caused this drop. It’s as big a mystery as why insulting the National Anthem, the flag, and our country didn’t start a successful dialogue on race; and why so many followers of Islam, a religion of peace, somehow choose terrorism. I doubt these mysteries will ever be solved.

There isn’t anything on this network worth watching, aside from their Thurs-Friday Masters coverage.
I’ve even tried avoiding ESPN.com which I used to go to daily for scores... but fox sports site sux TBH.

I had deserted ESPN years ago. I do not want politics injected into the sports that I watch. They can go to hell for all I care.

A friend of mine was ok with the bathroom thing because she vowed not to ever use it. But when she discovered there is a toy section for trans kids, that was the “straw”.
Interesting headline. ESPN saw a drop in viewers, attributed to conservative political views. The article avoids mentioning that total viewership declined. Perhaps they saw an increase in liberal viewership that partially compensated for the loss of conservative viewers. Combined with recent layoffs, this means that ESPN is now profitable.
Is ESPN President John Skipper trying to get himself fired?
Every once and a while I go to the “visitor post” section of the Target FB page. Almost every time some lib is on there thanking target for “being on the right side of history” and for “feeling better about shopping there now that the bigots are boycotting.”
Not only is Target Corp. pissing off their shoppers, their core demographic of liberal frmanaists are calling everyone who disagrees with them and target bigots.
If they were smart they would realize that is horrible PR, but target is not smart.
