Coulter: If Trump Doesn't Keep His Promises, Dems Will Win Big in 2018 & Impeach Him
Fox News ^ | May. 22, 2017

Posted on 05/22/2017 11:27:37 AM PDT by Rennes Templar

Ann Coulter was one of President Donald Trump's most outspoken supporters during the 2016 election, but so far she's been underwhelmed by his presidency.

On "Varney & Co." today, Coulter said that the American people elected Trump to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, enforce immigration laws, end NAFTA and end our role as the world's police.

"Unfortunately, we're not getting what we voted for," Coulter said.

She acknowledged, however, that much of the "vicious and violent" criticism of Trump is unfair.

"Both political parties for years and years have been pushing whatever Wall Street and the elites want. Trump was the only candidate who was going to put Americans first," Coulter said. "I just want him to get back to his campaign promises."

She said if he fails to do that, then the Democrats will destroy the Republicans in the 2018 midterms, and they "absolutely" will impeach him.

"The left-wing base is just obsessed with that, so Trump better keep his promises," Coulter said.

She noted that there's still plenty of time for Trump to get it together, but she's still waiting to see the "bull in a china shop" that he promised to be in Washington, D.C.

I don’t see how breaking off engagements is anti-family values. Better to break it off before hand, then to get divorced. Having said that, I have never once heard Ann Coulter mention family values.

Why doesn’t she run for Congress so she could be in a position to help?

The Constitution so amorphously describes “High Crimes and Misdemeanors” that Congress can impeach and convict for any reason they damn well choose.

It’s just a matter of 50% +1 in the House and 67 in the Senate, and it’s a done deal.

Whether there’s any underlying crime or not.

I’m uneasy over some of the same things she is, but she’s edging towards the escape pod way too early.

I don’t like most of his staff, his apparent attraction to a bouquet of globalist stinkweed, more ME muck, and the wall stalling out. That said, he is fighting a 360 degree battle, both parties, transnational globalism, the Military Industrial Complex as identified and flagged by Dwight Eisenhower, the banking mammon beast, on and on, and yes, Ratface Ryan. His going to odious places like Saudi Arabia may be to mow the lawn. It is them bowing this time. The globe photo is some bad imagery though. Terrible.

I’ll give him the run of the year, and then see. Ann Coulter should not go wobbly just yet, as Maggie Thatcher described the condition.

Blame Lyin’ RINO Ryan & His Pal Turtle McConJob before going after Trump!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I would recommend Trump to weekly address the nation calling out by name who is stopping his agenda. Let the voters know who the shitheads are.
Coulter makes a point that Trump is funding congress for his own impeachment, yet fans the flames bringing more language funding against him in the process like Jeb.
It is wrong
What a stupid thing to say. While I disagree with the reference to impeachment - I can think of nobody I agree with 100, she is one of the saner persons in the media. She was the first public figure to predict Trump's win, and that soon after he announced his candidacy. What do you disagree with in her book ADIOS, AMERICA? I found it an excellent take on a serious problem.
Even though that’s true, they bring some case that’s out of thin air and they will be laughed out of the country.
Or face a general civil war all over the country. Their choice.
<<” And it would be RYAN’s fault.” >>
Unfortunately, that is not what she says. She fails to name Ryan. We can assume she gets greater coverage hammering Trump and therefore makes more money on her product.... Herself.
I predict changes in the White House. Trump is no rookie at marketing himself or what belongs to him. Trump will doubtless cut the cord on the conventional method(s) for covering the White House. He will have to lead his own messaging and his agenda and confine the WH yakkers to only written statements of confirmation and affirmation of what he has already delivered.
"I just thought it odd she didn't have a coherent answer."
When she gets wound up, Coulter is usually always incoherent. When her guest segments are over, I can't even remember what she said in her ramblings...except I know that generally-speaking I don't LIKE what she said, nor do I care what she said.
I can't stand to watch her geyser-like spouting of intellectual nothing-burgers.....all the while re-adjusting, tossing and fidgeting with her lank hair.
I agree with your take on her.
At best, about all you can say with Ann, is that even when she says something you really agree with and are glad she said it in public, you know the flip-side moment is coming.
Days later you’ll be steaming at her, just as displeased as you were pleased before.
