Friday at the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce in Irving, TX, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said some President Donald Trump political problems were self-inflicted.
Cruz said, What Im trying to do is just ignore the circus.

>Im hardly the only FReeper who thinks Trump has foot-in-mouth syndrome.
I’ve found that most people who believe this tend get scared from the media attacking someone and blame the person being attacked for it. It shows a certain lack of moral forfeiture towards life and gives the high ground to the lying fake news media.
But then again, I might be wrong. Maybe you really believe Trump is an idiot who magically idoited his way to the white house by shoving his foot into his mouth over and over again. This doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, but hey who am I to criticize it?
“But then again, I might be wrong.”
That about sums it up...
Like this one....this one is really aggressive.
No amount of Scriptural citation will justify your smear of President Trump. You made a nasty claim which you can’t back up. Trying to use God to justify that behavior is a very bad idea.
Please cite specific instance to support your position. If you believe that what you said is true, you should have no trouble backing it up.
instance = instances
Shh, Ted. Be quiet and stay quiet. You’re not finished rehabilitating yourself yet.
You responded to me toots remember that.
And now you cry foul when the tables get turned, how typical!
A simple perusing of his twitter feed will supply you my points. I refuse to do your homework for you and many people of good faith agree with me as you can see above in the thread.
As to my earlier point, it’s a fools errand to try to even convince fools since your mind is made up anyways.
Who is being foolish here? On the one hand, you are smearing Trump and refusing to provide even a single example. Otoh, you are trying to argue that it’s my job to A, do your work for you, and B, prove a point I absolutely don’t believe in.
Your position is almost too bizarre for words. It’s like telling a critic of Obama that it’s their job to prove he was a great president. Incredible.
You’re citing the right verse, but directing it at the wrong person.
It may surprise you how long I have really been on this site. I do not know the term Noobs but so be it. I based what I said according to your first reply that is the only two categories I could see it fitting.
You continue to mis-characterize what I initially posted as being a smear. You are deliberate in it too, in other words you lie about it as if it is “smear”.
Based on upon those two facts, I’d say the verse fits you like a glove.
Fail. I said it is a smear if you can’t provide any examples to back it up. It would cease to be a smear if you could illustrate your charge. But you can’t—and that’s what makes it a smear.
So you can understand. Say I call you a liar. You say, ‘Provide examples of when I’ve lied.’
I say, ‘Other people agree with me, so it’s true.’
Would you really be fine with that? You shouldn’t be, because a baseless charge is a SMEAR.
Trump is president. He is supposed to be Ted’s president.
Ted should be one of the most rabid people on Capital Hill defending Trump, so we can get Trump’s agenda through.
So what does he do? He goes out and takes pot-shots at president Trump.
This is more of Ted’s “Never Trump” leakage.
Ted Cruz is just one more misguided wanna-be.
Fat chance of that. This is Ted Cruz after all.
I second your motion!
