For those questioning the claim that the public expression of faith is under attack, actions by public school administrators in Augusta, Maine should school them well on the issue. School officials have assumed the authority to decide that teachers are not allowed to let their colleagues know they are praying for them -- even in private conversations. It makes you wonder if they are still allowed to pray for them at all. Perhaps the school's next steps will be to investigate their thoughts!
Teacher Tony Richardson informed a colleague who was facing some difficulty (and who also attended the same church as her) she would be praying for him. Yet months later after a falling out between her and the colleague, a complaint was lodged against her, and the school gave her a "coaching memorandum" which told her that "[s]tating 'I will pray for you,' and 'you were in my prayers' is not acceptable—even if that other person attends the same church as you." In making such statements, according to the school, she "may have imposed some strong religious/spiritual belief system" on the prayed-for coworker.

The extent of the Christian oppression surfacing these days, should worry any person with morals.
And these same socialists will give a room in the school to muslims to pray.

That’s what they want. What we need to do is start demanding the firing of these folks, and registering them so they never have power over children again.
The headline should say they are told not to tell colleagues they are praying for them. It’s ridiculous either way, but we should be sticklers for truth. No need to exaggerate, it’s already crazy enough.

Separation of Church and State-—not in the Constitution. What that has morphed into, though, is “Separation of State and Faith” which is not possible. Everything promotes a “faith” in something or someone.

Without virtue, we are all slaves of the state. There is no inner control of base emotions without virtue formation in children. All Classical Christian curricula used to instill virtue into children—until John Dewey who destroyed the curricula for moral relativism (satanism).
Only Classical Christian curricula teaches agency and thinking for self (Free Will)....all other systems are programming into “group-think”—collectivism which is the same as socialism and satanism—both are moral relativistic cultures—No Objective Truth, no God-Given Natural Rights—No Constitution—only indoctrination into satanism and socialism (group-non-think) to destroy the possibly of a Christian worldview in children.

This will NOT stand up in court- where is the Christian version of the ACLU? Take this to court using tax payer funds like the vile ACLU does- and sue the hell out of this school for violating the rights of those teachers who are constitutionally protected to express their religious beliefs-
