President Donald Trump is under fire after an explosive report in the New York Times quoted a memo from former FBI Director James Comey indicating Trump had asked him to cease the federal investigation into Michael T. Flynn. The memo was allegedly penned after a meeting Comey had with Trump in February, with Comey writing in the memo afterwards that Trump said “I hope you can let this go,” in regards to the Flynn investigation. The meeting occurred the day after Flynn resigned.
The usual chorus of Democrats (i.e. all of them) are calling for impeachment in response to the news, but even a Republican representative is for the first time as well (under the condition that the claims turn out true): Justin Amash.
However, if the Times were hoping to use Comey as a pawn to take down Trump – they’ve shot Comey in the foot in the process. Contradicting Comey’s memo is none other than Comey himself – under oath.
Former FBI Director James Comey testified under Senate oath May 3rd that the Trump administration had not pressured his agency to halt any investigation for political purposes. Comey admitted that the FBI has always been free to operate without political interference—flying in the face of Democrats’ paranoid delusions about Russia and President Donald J. Trump, and exposing for what it is a new political witch hunt Wednesday by enemies within the president’s own Justice Department.

I know someone who had had a serious enemy at work. After leaving that employ, some years later, it was learned that the enemy tried to slip something bad in the HR file. Tried but failed.
This is too funny they are back to all trump all the time. I’ve seen this before. Boy they fighting hard to keep control over the yearly 4 trillion budget. At a certain point this Tuesday most people lost interest. Trump’s polling probably going to be going up. They don’t care about the truth. Memo was timed to bury Seth Rich Story which is arguably the biggest crime in political history given he was likely the leaker of DNC emails and not Russia. While DNC prevented FBI from investigating their servers and the investigation into his murder so that the media insane Russia narrative could continue.
It could be that Comey knows about the murder through the scuttled e-mails that yet remain a mystery. Which would make him a co-conspiritor, which would explain his playing along with this Russian smokescreen

hes the single worst thing Trump has done since elected. He literally gave the Dems the power to keep this dumb story alive when he recused himself..over a convoluted Al Franken question no less. He acted just like a typical Republican, terrified of what the media was saying about him, that he committed perjury. He could have stopped all this so easy. Hate to say it, put Trump and his team were very naive about what they were up against. These psychos are out for blood.

I think it is possible that Comey was orchestrating with his anti-Trump surrogates the leaks. The guy comes off as a slime ball who is as corrupt as the criminals his bureau investigates. When Trump took him out of the reigns of power, he also short circuited his ability to use the apparatus to against him. With Comey, we found for the first time in history, the use of the F.B.I. as a political weapon against your political opponent. That is sedition and I hope the Republicans get to the bottom of it.

I always felt President Trump should have made Christie or Giuliani the AG.
When the media has to finally acknowledge that it’s a lie, they’ll cause hysteria over something else and everyone will forget about Comey. Like so many others, he’s willingly allowed himself to become a useful idiot to the puppet masters on the Left.
