Fox News Channel is parting ways – again – with Bob Beckel, the co-host of its primetime program, “The Five.”
“Bob Beckel was terminated today for making an insensitive remark to an African-American employee,” the network said in a statement.
The dismissal opens — or perhaps closes 0- another chapter in an off-and-on relationship Beckel has had with the 21st Century Fox-owned cable-news outlet over the years. Beckel, a longtime political consultant as well as a former campaign manager for Democratic presidential candidate Walter Mondale, joined Fox News in 2000, and had a years-long tenure on “The Five” when it aired in the late afternoon. Indeed, he was one of the program’s original co-hosts.
He departed in 2015 while recuperating from back surgery in a split that was seen as less an amicable. “We tried to work with Bob for months, but we couldn’t hold ‘The Five’ hostage to one man’s personal issues,” said Bill Shine, who was then the network’s executive vice president of programming, in a statement at the time. “He took tremendous advantage of our generosity, empathy and goodwill and we simply came to the end of the road with him.”
But Beckel returned to Fox News in 2017 after doing a stint at CNN, and was greeted with open arms. “Bob was missed by many fans of ‘The Five’ and we’re happy to welcome him back to the show,” said Rupert Murdoch, executive chairman of Fox News Channel and its corporate parent, 21st Century Fox, in a prepared statement, in January.
Fox News’ human-resources department was made aware of a complaint about what one person familiar with the situation characterized as a “racially insensitive remark” on Tuesday evening. Executives conducted an internal investigation, this person said, and decided to part ways with Beckel Friday morning.

I can respect him even though I disagree with his party. He'd also be a great replacement for Geraldo. Caddell is one of the few DEMs left who cares for this nation.

Just crap. I like Bob Beckel. I am surprised he made any kind of racist comment. He has gone to the wall for the black community.
Probably asked for some milk to put in his coffee or some other 'microaggression'. Bob is not the brightest bulb but he does occasionally speak before thinking. So while he may have said something the PC police could spin as 'insensitive', Bob is not a racist person. This had to be a case of gotcha.

This quote makes no sense. Even if you assume that Beckel was leaving his office because the IT guy was Black.
“I’m leaving my office because you are black”. HUH? Who would phrase something that way? NO ONE!
I can think of MANY things of that nature that a racist might have said, but “I’m leaving my office because you are black”, isn’t one of them.

This time around, Beckel has been consumed with an unreasonable hatred and disdain for President Trump, making it difficult to remember when he was just a likeable prisoner of the so-called “progressive” ideology

Although, every time she took any time off she came back about two bra sizes larger. It was much more noticeable on Outnumbered.
The camera guys knew how to play the angles to accentuate that aspect of Ms. Tantaros' 'expertise'.
She was prime eye-candy.
But, if she has remained true to form, with an absence of the length she's been off Fox, if she came back now, I doubt that she'd be able to remain upright in her seat.
Beckel added nothing to the show except grunts, mumbles, one-liners, eye-rolling, head-dropping, head-shaking, inarticulate sentences plus the usual stale anti-Trump lines.
Even the Morlock brothers know a dud panelist when they see they had one.
I don't know how some freepers can say they "like" Beckel. What's to "like"...maybe some sympathy for him (as I have) for his troubled life....but "like" him" along with his leftist schtick???
I don't watch the show any more, Williams is the horrendous, non-stop-talking, dominating marxist presence, plus PeRINO's shrill, ear-piercing chirping and even Kimberley's conservative but nasally-delivered, lengthy nothing-burgers get on my last nerve.
And I'm really a forgiving, patient, calm, collected person !!! But I don't like to waste an hour out of my day, five days a week, on ANY disasterous show.....which this one is.
One can only hope this ENTIRE program is trash-canned quickly.... and that Hannity's program is moved into the prime time spot so that we on the Right Coast can get to bed at a decent time.

an incident that un-swift Bob didn’t see coming. Seems the lawsuits are flying at FOX. Being un-PC is very expensive these days, if your Corporation is rolling in cash. Lots of people got rich working for the aggrieved at FOX. The heist worked perfectly for a few sex-pots who
