Here we go again. We have found more undisclosed meetings with the Russians. That means more mouths will foam. More accusations will fly, though Democrats are about to get rabid again over nothing again, which is always entertaining. The New York Times reported that Trump associates had contact with Russian intelligence officials a year before the election, but there was no evidence of collusion. Some associates, like Paul Manafort, have done business in the country and running into Russian intelligence isnt unusual. So, nothing came of that. The infamous Russian dossier that was published in full on BuzzFeed was compiled by a former MI6 operative, Christopher Steele, as part of an opposition research project by anti-Trump Republicans, which was later taken over by Democrats. The dossier is unverified. It largely remains uncorroborated. What we do know is that Russian government officials talked to other Russians, but we dont know what they discussed. Now, there are reports that the dossier itself was a project funded by the Russians. Fusion GPS, which funded the effort, has refused to cooperate with the Senate Judiciary Committee, who sent a letter asking them if they could answer some questions about this project.
There is no solid evidence that the Russians colluded with the Trump campaign during the 2016 election and it remains that way. Reuters reported that the Trump campaign had 18 undisclosed communications with Russian officials during the last seven months of the 2016 elections. Buried in the story: no evidence of collusion (via Reuters) [emphasis mine]:
Michael Flynn and other advisers to Donald Trumps campaign were in contact with Russian officials and others with Kremlin ties in at least 18 calls and emails during the last seven months of the 2016 presidential race, current and former U.S. officials familiar with the exchanges told Reuters. The previously undisclosed interactions form part of the record now being reviewed by FBI and congressional investigators probing Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election and contacts between Trumps campaign and Russia.
Six of the previously undisclosed contacts described to Reuters were phone calls between Sergei Kislyak, Russia's ambassador to the United States, and Trump advisers, including Flynn, Trumps first national security adviser, three current and former officials said.
[…]
The people who described the contacts to Reuters said they had seen no evidence of wrongdoing or collusion between the campaign and Russia in the communications reviewed so far. But the disclosure could increase the pressure on Trump and his aides to provide the FBI and Congress with a full account of interactions with Russian officials and others with links to the Kremlin during and immediately after the 2016 election.
So, theres nothing wrong. Theres nothing illegal. And theres nothing improper with these meetings. Associated Press Julie Pace also mentioned that there was nothing wrong with the meetings Trump officials had with the Russians.
Nothings changed here, folks. Theres still no evidence of collusion. The House and Senate Intelligence committees have also yet to find smoking guns relating to the collusion allegation.
Maxine Waters has her head so far up her own ass she’s looking out her own eyes twice.
They say she got an award for spelling her name right in High School, and actually knowing who her her daddy was that was the second award)...
Yeah if she sticks her head far enough up her wazoo she can see Russia.
That's because they're looking in the wrong places. If any collusion took place, it was in the Hillary campaign. We already know she sold favors to Russia for huge personal profit. It's not that much of a leap to assume she did collude with them to try to sway the election. All of this noise is not about Trump, it's about trying to distract attention from Hillary.
Bwahahaha, that is about the funnies thing I've ever read, and it's probably true.
Last night on Chris Hayes MSNBC program he and lib guests admitted that there probably was no collusion on the election between Trump campaign and the Russians, but they said that there are many other things the special prosecutor can get them on:
Covering up the non-collusion
Lying about the non-collusion
They always get their man, just ask Scooter!
Let’s keep in mind that when people say that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to “hack” “meddle with” or otherwise change the outcome of the election, they are talking about releasing emails that revealed how corrupt and criminal the Democrats are, nothing more.
Quite possible. I say that Muller should verify that the Russians actually did something to the DNC servers before proceeding on that assumption, but maybe expecting Muller to do his job is asking too much. We shall see.
Bingo. No law was broken.
It’s as if democrats were accusing Trump of using mustard ... on his burger. And that Trump used mustard several times before being elected. And admitting using mustard on hot dogs. And the breathless press put in on the front page: Un-named source saw Trump using mustard...
BUT...
It’s NOT against the law to use mustard.
It’s NOT against the law to use mustard.
Get it?
It’s NOT against the law to use mustard.
There is NO CRIME.
That’s where we’re at...it’s like the folks in Washington are nuts.
No law was broken. “Collusion” is NOT possible.

With a special prosecutor that doesn't matter.
Ever heard Trump change his story (less than three times) ?? Will every one on his campaign remember exactly what they said to anyone else the last year or more?
Things the special prosecutor may get them on:
Covering up the non-collusion
Lying about the non-collusion
What crime did Scooter Libby commit?
Having a discussion with a cinderblock while drunk would result in a more intellectually stimulating conversation than listening to that stupid batsh*t moron.
I refuse to obey any law passed by morons like her.
Absolute no compliance.
James Brown had better hair. His was real.
“...just ask Scooter!...”
Trump ain’t Scooter Libby.
And he’s got a Hell of a lot more money to fight back with than Scooter.

Trump: No
Overpaid troll: Three ‘sources’ say they say you put mustard on your burger in September.
Trump: Maybe I used mustard... is that a crime?
Overpaid troll: It's not a crime but we're assigning a special prosecutor to find out if you used mustard in November... We'll pull in everything we can find to trash you... You should have written down everything you ate - kept notes - like the DC nut jobs do.
Trump: You people are nuts.
Kremlin spokesman: Russian ambassador met with advisers to Clinton campaign too http://thehill.com/policy/international/323582-kremlin-spokesman-russian-ambassador-met-with-advisers-to-clinton

This is all such a joke!
Why shouldn’t the coming administration meet with Russians?
I thought that the idea of a rapprochement with Putin’s government to subdue ISIS and advance matters of mutual interest was brilliant and creative.
And even if you disagree, isn’t it the President-elect’s job to create and advance foreign policy?
