A Tennessee woman, furious over a congressman's vote in support of the Republican health care bill, allegedly followed the lawmaker and then screamed at him and attacked his vehicle when he stopped driving, police said.
Wendi Wright, a 35-year-old resident of Obion County, was charged with felony reckless endangerment after she purportedly tailed a car that Rep. David Kustoff, a Republican, and his aide Marianne Dunavant had taken from a town hall event Monday at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
She was allegedly outraged over Kustoff's vote in support of the American Health Care Act.
Her dogged pursuit of their vehicle caused the passengers to fear Wright would run them off the road, the Weakley County Sheriff's Department wrote in a press release.
The congressman's aides and the sheriff department contend that Wright scared the passengers into driving to the home of a person who they knew. That's when Wright began screaming at them, striking their windows and reaching inside the car.
Wright then blocked the car until a 911 call was made, police said. She left before the sheriff's department arrived.

The congressman was foolish to stop the car without a gun as protection.
He put himself and his aide at the mercy of a psycho who could have Been armed.

Memorize these words: “Officer, I shot because I felt threatened. Here is my Concealed Carry License.” If you can’t say the second sentence, you are in trouble.

I truly do believe that the spiritual level of things is being exposed - the ‘Left’, ‘Liberal’, etc. are demonically influenced, controlled or possessed. Their free Abortion sacrament is being taken from them, their evil agenda is being thwarted and the demons of Hell cannot stand it. It truly is the only explanation for the level of hate and vitriol.
So many aspects of life that were local concerns when I was a kid are now of national importance. Healthcare, education, marriage, nutrition, who bakes cakes for whom, speed limits, and probably dozens of other things that don’t come to mind at this moment.
We can thank the 17th Amendment and Progressives for elevating everything they take issue with. Nothing is too private or minute for their circumspection.
If congress kept to its Article I duties, that women and congressman wouldn’t have met in violence.
