Trump Picks Voter ID Advocate for Election Fraud Panel

President Trump on Thursday named Kris W. Kobach, the Kansas secretary of state who has pressed for aggressive measures to crack down on undocumented immigrants, to a commission investigating vote fraud, following through on his unsubstantiated claim that millions of “illegals” voted for his Democratic rival and robbed him of victory in the national popular vote.

Mr. Kobach, who has championed the strictest voter identification laws in the country, will be the vice chairman of the commission, which will be led by Vice President Mike Pence and is expected to include about a dozen others, including state officials from both political parties, said Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the deputy White House press secretary.

Mr. Trump signed an executive order on Thursday creating the commission, which Ms. Sanders said would have a broad mandate to review policies and practices that affect Americans’ confidence in the integrity of federal elections.

IF Voter ID ever becomes law, the RATs are finished.
Who knows how many of them are in office right now as a result of voter fraud.
No only do we need strong Voter ID laws, we also need severe punishment for those that get caught doing it.

It’s not fair.

You don’t need ID to buy beer, get a passport, buy cigarettes, get into nightclubs, drive a car, enter a state or federal building, pick up prescriptions, open a bank account, etc. etc. etc. /s

And they know it. I believe the whole crapstorm is going to explode in California. The whole crooked political machine there is going to go berserk, at which point, they need to be arrested.

- Repeal Motor Voter

- ID, fingerprint, and proof of residency (copy of utility or phone bill) at the voting booth

- Get rid of early voting. Voting should be only as the Constitution says - First Tuesday of November, unless that Tuesday falls on All Saint's Day

My solution for immagration/voting is to make the immigrant show a gradeschool photo with their name printed under it.
No young photo, no entry. Plus it stops illiterate voting that fleeces Americans.

Lets hope the political opposition in sanctuary cities and states develop and make this willy-nilly handout of voting privledges to illegals a series issue. As well as point out Norte Americanos are denied that right as well as ownership of property (land) in their own name.

In addition, I think anyone who wants to vote should pass a Civics test like for those who are going through the citizenship process.

I would far rather see a requirement to prove that one has paid more in taxes than they received in payments from the government. OK, we can exclude Social Security, military pay, and unemployment insurance. But any other payment counts. If you live off welfare, no voting for you. If you work for the government, you have enough say in what the government does.

Maybe we can get a national, court approved and tested set of voter ID guidelines that states could adopt.

I turn 70 in a few months. While I think I might have two or three grade school photos left, NONE have my name printed under my face. High School yearbook was the first to do that.

I imagine that is the situation for most adults.

I’ve been waiting for this promised voter fraud investigation. It seems the president is now getting serious about that swampy sewer.

Hopefully Kobach will get in touch with reality now that he heads an election fraud panel.

Illegal immigrants voting are an extremely small part, an insignificant part, of the election fraud that occurs.

Election fraud has never determined a presidential race, not even the swing of a single state’s electors.

Election fraud has determined a few Senate and Congressional races and many local races.

Voter_ID is just a small part of Election Fraud. The other, more significant parts need to be addressed.

Kobach needs to work closely with the DOJ to have the perpetrators of election fraud prosecuted. Of course, that means a) accepting and using the hard evidence frequently provided to the DOJ that has been ignored by both R and D DOJ in the past.

And b) assigning competent investigators to complete cases where the evidence complainants provide is good, but incomplete.

In short, this office should be about quiet, hard work. It should not be about grandstanding.
