Associated Press news stories on controversial topics are generally adapted from Democratic National Committee press releases, but when the AP really wants to cut loose it labels its stories “AP Analysis.” This one, by Julie Pace, is headlined: “AP Analysis: Trump thrusts US presidency into perilous area.” Not just Trump’s presidency, but “US presidency,” to reinforce the Democrats’ absurd claim that Trump’s firing of the inept James Comey somehow represents a constitutional crisis.
Why was it so shocking? The Democrats have been demanding it for months.
This is deeply dishonest. Note that the AP doesn’t say that Trump is the first president since Nixon to fire an FBI Director. Nixon didn’t fire an FBI Director. The last president to fire an FBI Director, on far weaker grounds than Trump’s, was Bill Clinton.
Why the talk about Nixon? The word went out today from the DNC that Trump’s firing of Comey was “Nixonian”–you see that claim everywhere in the Democratic Party media–and Julie Pace is following her party’s lead.

The media and the Marxists have jumped the shark.
The media comparing this to Watergate is stupid. There is no comparison. Obama was a lot closer to Nixon than Trump.
Obama basically decapitated the government and replaced it with Marxists and Muslims, to which the media of course pays no attention. Now they whine and scream that it’s unconstitutional when another president tries to undo it.
Also, we have always been at war with Eastasia.
The AP has gone off the deep end lately. They make CNN and MSNBC look legit.

The Media had blown Nixon out to be some form of monster, just as they have Trump. As it turns out, Nixon was far less of a monster than Clinton or Obama.
Trump isn’t even on the scale.
It could be argued that each Clinton and Obama committed acts of treason. I think it’s very likely McCain, Graham, and possibly Rubio did as well.
Arming and funding terrorist groups known to be sworn mortal enemies of the United States could easily qualify as treason.
Russia is a created excuse to cover for all the illegal spying on then candidate Trump to use by Obama and Hillary against him in the election. When Trump won, they knew the spying scandal would be exposed so they invented this Russia lie as a cover.

Trump’s firing of the FBI director was Clintonian not Nixonian.
