Days before he was fired, James B. Comey, the former FBI director, asked the Justice Department for a significant increase in money and personnel for the bureau’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the presidential election, three officials with knowledge of his request told the New York Times.
Comey asked for the resources during a meeting last week with Rod J. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general who wrote the Justice Department’s memo that was used to justify the firing of the FBI director this week.

I posed this exact question to some people some weeks ago. To a man, they said it wasn’t about the actual votes.

I think there is a reason on the back burner. If Trump and Putin reach some kind of accord, the Dems will be out of power for years, plus the snakes will be slithering out of the swamp in ways that the Bilge Rats may roll over and die about. Or even face prosecution for.

When questionable stuff like this gets posted here. Let’s see if we can id the sources. The AG’s office denies this. Where did this “story” begin ? Did it emanate from the Boston Globe (Rosenberg/Appuzo source) and Wapoo pick it up or the other way around ?
