Ivanka Trump has been tapped by her father, President Donald Trump, to review the United States’ commitment to the Paris Climate Change agreement, signed by former President Barack Obama as an executive agreement in 2015 without congressional approval, the Associated Press is reporting.
The agreement requires countries to cut greenhouse emissions on a country-by-country basis, with Obama committing the U.S. to reduce carbon emissions by at least 26 percent below 2005 levels by 2025.
The U.S. is expected to have a representative at the United Nations’ climate change meeting in Bonn, Germany, next week but Trump’s advisers — including daughter Ivanka and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt — are meeting on Tuesday in Washington to decide whether to stick with or withdraw from the deal.

My business was partnered with my spouse, and employed my kids. It did really well, very few could have helped as well as they did. The idea, that this is simple nepotism is stupid. Many times you can rely on competent family best to get things done.
Ivanka is not a stupid bimbo, she has run businesses, and done well with them. She was considered the future of the Trump business. Ivanka is a moderate, not a liberal, and if you don't think she hasn't watched what liberals are doing to her and her family (and learning what that means), you're the ones who are being stupid.
This is not the Rockefellers, or Kennedies, who got huge trust funds and didn't know a damn thing. This is not the royal families of France. Those things are the problem called "nepotism".
Trump just rejected cap and trade after a thread like this wailing about how Ivanka and Jared were leading him astray. There was a similar thread wailing about how Trump met with Al Gore, then he proceeded to appoint a "denier" to run the EPA.
My God, get a grip people. Every day he has been doing great things for this country, fulfilling promises, doing it faster and better than anyone since Reagan, and you all hyperventilate about nonsense.

The USA is the only country to lower it’s CO2 emissions for the last 8 years straight.
Let the others talk to us when they catch up. Emissions don’t honor borders. We should be getting reparations.
