And I’ve been in those loud places, and I’m hip to the idea of being scared.
It doesn’t make you kill an innocent dog that’s standing there helpless. Just another psychopath, glad she checked out without hurting anyone else.

Wow, she was beautiful just a few years ago - and she was only 23. What a waste of a human life (and a dog’s life too).

Amen! Know too many people who survived multiple tours in Vietnam as well as Iraq and Afghanistan; this person was flawed at the onset. Why do you assume she’s a daughter of Christ? Just curious.
There are some mental illnesses that rear their ugly head late teens to early adulthood. Unfortunately that is also the age of most military recruits.
There are also mental issues that can arise due to military service.
I am seriously bothered that in following this story I have not noticed reference to her getting treatment. Disturbing when currently 22 veterans a day are committing suicide.
The issue with the dog was horrific, but would seem it would have been a wake up call for her family? Friends? The VA? Someone? that she needed major help.
I’m with you. Taking her crap out on a helpless animal makes me glad she’s dead. There’s no excuse for that. None.
I hear what you are saying, but to me that sounds like a person that is mentally ill. I can’t see a normal person thinking like that.
If I remember correctly, about fifty-sixty years ago when a Military Policeman with a dog reached the end of his enlistment, the dog was destroyed.
At least that is what a newspaper story from back then said.
