In retrospect, the Fifties was the greatest decade for jazz. Be-bop had been assimilated into the mainstream, and individual artists had replaced the Big Bands. I’m following up with three magnificent jazz interpretations of this song.

This is the saxophone legend and genius in 1957 with a fine jazz club arrangement.

Rain ALL day, but it was light rain. And it’s cold! Only got up to 46 degrees here today which is an all time record for this area, they say. Supposed to bounce back into the 70s tomorrow. But at present, it’s warmer in Anchorage than it is here. LOL

Yes, Pixie and the girlies are doing well. It’s probably time to go back to the bedroom to see if Pixie is ready for another break to hang out with the rest of the kittehs.
