That’s what I was wondering — how this EO will conflict with the Johnson Amendment. Doesn’t an Amendment take precedence over an EO? If so, the signing ceremony today is pretty much a photo op.

It doesn’t overturn the Amendment, it only limits the enforcement of it.

That’s exactly right. Obama’s Executive Order on “protecting” sexual deviants in the Fed workforce remains in place because of uber liberal Ivanka and Jerald Kustner and bakers all over the country, and any other Christian that does not want to do business with sexual deviants will either do business with them or close their business.

Christians got Trump elected and unless he quits listening to his liberal daughter, who by the way is also pro-abortion, Christians will see it that he’s not reelected.

Where did I say this is not good for the GOP? I didn’t even mention the GOP. But we had some strong evangelicals running against him and not one of them brought up the Johnson Amendment on the campaign trail. Now he’s making good on his word.

He can’t repeal it by himself. This will indeed energize people to put pressure on Congress. I was objecting to the article that said it was useless. The Donald is a very strategic thinker and I agree it’s a big deal.

I hope we both see it taken to heart by pastors, and they have the courage of Christian Martyrs who died in Muslim country’s not renouncing their faith.

I only fear our country becomes Europe where religion has died out, and with that all moral direction in many people’s lives. Socialism has claimed Liberal Jews who no longer back Israel. We both agree with each other this can be a big deal.

A couple of more conservative SCOTUS justices and a Senate with more conservatives so we can run the likes of Collins out of the party. They are really Dems we can rely on voting against conservative and Christian values.

Yes, the Const. is the Law of the Land. Then fight on every front to get it restored; not pull a Bush “I had to violate to support it” BS. Unfort., not even the (C) ‘think-tanks’ seem anything worth a court case on multiple fronts (EO vs. ‘law’, A1 vs. existing ‘law’, 16th/IRS vs. 1A, etc.) BURY ‘em and use the law against ‘em for once.

A lot of what our UNPAID President does for this country is the untangling the tangled webs the Demorats have left.... It is not an easy job as it has to be done in such a way as to not topple the things which do matter. ..the Demorats don't just get their trash to pass...but they purposely wrap it up in that which is otherwise good for this country so that the whole thing comes down if you touch it....let alone change it.

We need to give this administration lots of room to undo this mess in the time and phases it requires ....rather than some complaining every time Trump moves the ball closer to a touch down.....

Most understand football enough to know what it takes to move the plays down the field....and with an opposing team fighting to knock those down carrying the ball....

So we need to give our guys support and watch the plays.....as long as that ball ends up back in their hands then we have a chance to turn this country around...

That’s exactly how it has to be unraveled and done.....otherwise the entire thing will fall around us....the deorats purposely entangle what they do so that if an attempt to change it is made there is sure to be an issue minorities and special interest groups, and those who want a socialist state....... etc. which they then fire up and use as public outcry.

Demorats are a deceptive and deceitful group of people who operate just that way....they create landmines where only they know will blow up.....

We must give our people room to do this right and in the right way....
