Hillary Clinton lost. She, her family, her party, and the media are having a hard time coming to grips with that reality. She failed to connect with the people and couldnt escape her own self-inflicted injuries and scandals. She also relied on data and analytics that never told her the real story and only re-enforced what her operatives thought was true.
Democrats act like no one could have foreseen Hillarys loss. How could they? All the polls and data pointed towards a landslide historic victory for Hillary Clinton. Everyone KNEW this would be the case.

Except for one man. He knew what was happening the whole time and tried to warn the campaign but he was marginalized and ignored.
That man was the former President Bill Clinton:
Via The New York Post and the Best-Seller on the meltdown of the Clinton campaign Shattered:
Hed seen the trans-Atlantic phenomenon of populist rage at rallies across the country, and warned friends privately of his misgivings about its effect on Hillarys chances. Now his focus turned back to the international movement hed seen gathering. Its like Brexit, he lamented. I guess its real.
He saw the tide turning. He knew that populism was rising against the establishment and the elites. Why Hillary thought she could out-ride or escape that moniker is anyones guess.
But Bill knew, and he was ignored repeatedly.
For Hillary Clintons chief strategists, the unique challenge of reconciling working-class and white rural frustrations with the Obama administrations handling of the economy proved too difficult a riddle, and they chose in the end to focus their efforts elsewhere, much to Bill Clintons reported protestation.
A bunch of young campaign operatives thought they knew better than a man who won the popular vote twice and was uniquely able to target white working class AND minority votes:
Bill Clintons viewpoint of fighting for the working-class white voters was often dismissed with a hand wave by senior members of the team as a personal vendetta to win back the voters who elected him, from a talented but aging politician who simply refused to accept the new Democratic map,
Just astounding. I am so glad Hillary is not our President, and the debacle that was her campaign is reason enough. How could we expect this woman to run this country when she ran a campaign that was filled with nothing but sycophants and arrogant opportunists? Bill Clinton is scum and was a horrible President, but you cant deny the man knew how to win. If Hillary wanted to win, she should have listened to him.
save for later
I’ve heard that Bill didn’t really want Hillary to win.
Among the reasons I’ve heard are:
1. Bill and HIllary actually pretty much lead separate lives. He didn’t look forward to being compelled to move in with her in the White House and pretend they are one big happy family.
2. Bill is used to coming and going when he wants. If he lived in the White House again, his comings and goings would be subjected to much more scrutiny, than the attention he attracts as a former president.
3. The activities of the Clinton foundation and their “charity” work would come under much more scrutiny if Hillary were president.
4. He didn’t want to be in the center of power in the White House but this time, not to be the one with the power.
Funny, that. Bill Clinton also knew that Algore was doomed, because Algore wouldn’t let Slick Willie campaign for him.
Lock them up.
For all his rep as a great retail politician, Slick never won a majority in a presidential race.
They still cannot get the story right. On purpose.
Its not populism.
Its against LIBERALISM / SOCIALISM.
The uniparty IS LIBERAL SOCIALISTS. On both sides of the aisle. EIther overt, covert, or coward enablers.
They want to frame this as just against ANY establishment or elites. No, no, no. Not just any establishment or leader.
They will never put the truth in print. Because its the uniparty press printing this deliberately misleading stuff.
Bill Clinton was busy pondering which way was up and which way was down.
So much for his political sense.
LOL
x42i was ignored and I’m glad they did.
Say what you want about Billy boy, but he knows politics like nobody else. He knew she was going to lose and I said that before the election. You could read it on his face and in his manner of speaking when he was being interviewed. There was no energy there. I thought it was maybe age or drugs, or whatever, but in reality he knew what the score was.
He could have been more vocal, but chose to let Hillary run the show her way, and let the chips fall where they may...............
Then, how do we explain the video of Billy jumping up & down clapping his hands on election night when it looked like hillary might win?
The only think I read on his face was, “NEAR DEATH!”
Yea, that was my first thought also.
Significant hindsight Bullshit. Easy to predict AFTER the fact. Pitiful.
Oh, by the way, the sun came up in the East this morning. Morons.
5. Hillary is currently, monumentally insufferable. Imagine how much more insufferable she would be as a president.
6. Do you really want your wife to be president? Heck no.
The only reason Billy Jeff was elected in the first place was Ross Perot.
Had she not called American's a half dozen names. If she had come clean over Email-Gate. If she had gotten out of the Clinton Foundation (International money machine). If she had just published her Goldman Sachs speeches. If she hadn't lied about Benghazi. If she had given Pressers - or any of these things - she might be President today.
But the fact is that she did all these things and more (her past) so she looked and smelled shady to the voters. She deserved the blowout that she got. And that was what the Democrats got - a Blowout, a Shellacking, a thumping which the party may not be able to come to grips with ever again.
He could have been more vocal, but chose to let Hillary run the show her way, and let the chips fall where they may...............
That myth has been debunked and only existed to protect the Bush family name.
