Mick Mulvaney, the budget director, is currently having a press conference.
I was watching it, and learned for the first time, that there is several hundreds of millions of dollars in the budget, for ramping up fencing on the border (now) upgrading to a 20-foot structurally sound, actual border.
This is the first I had heard of that.
It seems the President is looking at playing much harder ball in September.
It seems the 2017 budget was closed, as of the budget agreement.
I am much, much happier than I was a couple of days ago.

To be honest, this is pretty much the model for what Trump is up to that we are shakey about.
When it’s explained by someone in the know, it’s great.
The media is putting out false or at least misleading information.

This is probably money that was included in the osama spending bill to get the votes of the Republicans, to be used for strengthening the wall, that the rats allowed secure in the confidence that it would never be spent. Then Came Trump.

Personally, I would be fine with what I saw as the final wall. It is fine, more cost efficient, and as discussed, you can see through it and is safer for enforcement officers. Put that up and let the other side claim victory because it isn’t a brick wall. Art of the deal.

Obama may have had one budget. I do know that he stopped submitting them. One was rejected 99-1 by the SENATE. Can you imagine the Fake News Phonies going after any Republican after such a crushing defeat?
