When you see cities destroyed and thousands dead, then you will have a real civil war.
At some point after being pushed too far, the right, and center, (those too busy making a living to protest) will push back, only it won’t be with picket signs and chants, but surgical executions with military precision for a start, and it goes much worse from there. And don’t misunderstand, I am not condoning it at all, but I do see it as inevitable if present trends continue, so I agree with Dennis Praeger.
But the left shouldn’t fear ‘right wing extremists’, as long as those on the right are not disenfranchised by our system. But the government and education institutions and media better start condoning the enforcing the laws equally, against their ideological comrades or this will get out of hand.
,,,,,, says you ,,,, Trump got elected ,,, I’d say somebody got off their butt . I suppose you stayed home on Nov. 8th or perhaps voted for the Beast .
Oh, so it is better for me to co-exist in the same country as Marxists? WTH? Are you in drugs?
The penetrating silence of an enemedia-free country would bring the sheeple face-to-face with their own ignorance. The L*ft would lose its ability to coordinate the sheeple into a useful lumpenproletariat through large-scale Pavlovian training. They’d be back to the post-Babel situation where no one can understand each other.
It wouldn’t be a war if it didn’t turn violent.
Bump
It looks like what’s really coming is anarchy, not civil war. Govt is taking sides (the left’s) and is sitting on it’s thumbs.
You are correct, there are many forces at play here trying to undermine the US, the last bastion of liberty and strong supporter of nationalism among the economically viable larger countries.
What sometimes troubles me is that our multi national companies have become globalist first, US companies second. I recall some used to say things like what is good for GM is good for the US. That seemed to begin to die off in the 70s and in the later years it was virtually killed off as the US companies began in earnest to off shore both production and corporate structure.
I wasn’t thinking that strategically. My motive was more revenge based. But I agree with you.
“I don’t think the enemy is fighting to overthrow our formal government; the Deep State are on their side. They are fighting together against us. “
That’s the article in a nutshell.
Ha, ha, ha, ha...what a kidder!
That’s a good point about the magnifying effects of the 24 hour news cycle, the internet and social media. It probably does make things seem much more urgent and dire. On the other hand, just imagine what might happen if something happens to the internet/media and the people that have always had it can’t get it anymore. Not sure they know how to occupy themselves without it.
Here are two points that make me think we are probably not too close, at least unless something changes drastically.
The poorest people are now the most likely to be obese. I dont think this has ever happened before, its like something out of Swift. Its hard to imagine them choosing the hardship sustained civil unrest would bring, at least while these conditions exist.
Also it seems to me folks would exercise their political options before they take to the streets or whatever. We havent had even 65% eligible voter turnout since 1908. This recent Georgia district 6 special election that got so much attentiononly 43.5% of eligible voters bothered to vote. 56% of the people who could vote didnt care enough about it to even bother, and yet it was this huge story that is supposed to predict how the off year elections will turn out.
Freegards
DUH! Wars ARE violent!
Please don’t do that to me.
Not as long as they let delta smelt shut down their farms.
California, the only state that can suffer epic flooding and a drought at the same time!
How cute. “Civil war” - except that our side is way too civil, or they like their material things, not sure which. Bottom line? Our side is too chickens#!t to fight back. Too worried they’ll lose their jobs, mortgages, cars, RV’s, toys, etc. The left is winning and will continue to win because we refuse to fight back.
Dennis is correct. The good people in law enforcement and politics better play chess with this. Stop it now. It can only get worse. It’s wholly one sided.
Presdient Trump is as close as we are going to get to an Ehrmantraut.
