Prominent Washington journalists, if not Hollywood stars, celebrated the First Amendment during the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, an event that lacked the glitter of past years because of the absence of the president of the United States.
With President Donald Trump sending his regrets, the attention was no longer focused on an in-person roasting of the commander in chief and his humorous remarks about politics and the press. The red carpet that once featured Oscar winners, TV stars and a few major-league athletes barely turned heads.
Instead, speakers at the dinner promoted press freedom and responsibility and challenged Trump’s accusations of dishonest reporting....

Bee’s taped show, a tongue-in-cheek tribute to American news organizations, featured actor Will Ferrell and other guests roasting Trump and his allies. It singled out the Committee to Protect Journalists....
And a Z-List muzzie comedian hosted the stupid event.

Those celebrities are “special” in their own minds. NONE of them meaning “ZERO”, has done or are doing anything “special” to Make America Great Again, they only live to undermine and find fault. If this country should EVER be blessed with a media that is POSITIVE, imagine what a great country we would have, unfortunately it will never happen because they are indeed SICK PEOPLE!
Fact: The White House Correspondents Dinner was a non-event!!! End of story!!!
I missed this show. These people are really irrelevant. Trump did a great job of illustrating this. “We are not fake news. Really! Hay stop laughing over there.”

They basically formally declared their intentions to take down the Trump administration with fake news, lies and corruption. They boasted...we took down one Republican Presidency (Nixon) we can do it again.
