New York State Sen. Daniel Squadron, D-Manhattan, has a plan to snare conservatives into coughing up their gun rights.
Democrats have come up with a creative way of selectively confiscating guns from certain residents, and several Second Amendment watchdogs say the strategy could soon be coming to a state near you.
A state legislator from Manhattan has introduced a bill that would nullify gun rights from those convicted of hate crimes, even those involving nonviolent, misdemeanor offenses.
If successful, New York would become the seventh state to implement such a law.
The FBI defines a hate crime as a “criminal offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender’s bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, or gender identity.”
But, as Guns America News and Reviews reminds New Yorkers, the FBI makes it clear that “hate itself is not a crime” and that the agency is “mindful of protecting freedom of speech and other civil liberties.”

By what authority does the FBI get to define a crime? The definition of a crime should be in the law.
MA AG Healey has said she will soon outlaw all semi-auto guns.
It is an act of futility on her part. She will get her ass handed to her with Gorsuch on the SCOTUS.
Don’t count on that for a second. US troops have fired on American citizens before and will again. “I was just following orders...”
Twenty years ago I would have agreed with you but our military is infested with leftist and they are in positions of command. Some personnel would disobey a fire on American citizens as an illegal order, some wouldn’t hesitate for a second. Look at the cops in Berkeley spitting on their oaths and ignoring the law because they were ordered to stand down.

That is also going away. They are being purged and the process is accelerating. I have friends who were high ranking officers who were forced out because of their political sympathies towards OBotulism and this happened 1 year before the idiot left office. Dunford and Mattis are on top of things.

“Hate crimes”? That’s not even a thing. Now they want to punish you for violating this non-thing?
So in MA, the AG has legislative powers? Impressive!
