Kindergarten is serious business.
Effing Amish...
Now that they have such inventive names it is not even necessary to have pictures to know.......Amish.
Oh, those wild & crazy Amish.
Somehow I knew even before reading that the name would be something like Shequella.
Durham...lib heaven.
“Durham police said that teacher Megan Jones had arranged a parent-teacher conference with Shequella Sheala Leonard”
No pictures needed with that name. It seems that every day in the news we have some black person going off the deep end.
I had a parent call me a bitch and slam the phone down on me once. Thank God for telephonic communication.
Let me guess...mom was there because the kid had behavioral issues?
What a coincidence. That has to be, oh, perhaps the 25th person I’ve known or heard of with the name Shaquella that had a hard life, got in trouble a few times as a kid, was turning their life around, preparing to go to college, and an aspiring rapper.
Maybe she just wanted to light a fire under the child :)
Was she going to a bar-b-que later? Did she have a dozen lighters she had to refuel?
Amish doing what Amish do.....
Hard to imagine why this child would be acting out in kindergarten. Racism, perhaps?
“a parent-teacher conference with Shequella Sheala Leonard”
O.K., here we go ...
I know without looking.
We lived in Mt. Gilead, NC for a very short while about
45 yrs. ago. Politics weren’t a big topic back then. - It
was a very small town; we had to drive in to Raleigh to
even pick up carry out food. - Mt. Gilead did have a small
restaurant that a woman had set up in an old house in town.
Son & I went in to town once every two weeks to the
laundramat & washed our clothes. We rented a lakeside
cottage on the outskirts of town. We did laundry, then went
to lunch at the drugstore downtown at an old-fashioned
lunch counter where we got sandwiches, chips & fountain
cokes. Then across the street to ceramics class. (I still
have a few of the items we made in ceramics.)
We moved back to Tennessee as husband got homesick. I
liked it in NC, but did have at least one scary
experience on the lake - and the man we rented the cottage
from was robbed and murdered a few years later (he did tend
to flash his roll of cash around, not a good idea even in
a quiet town).
I wonder what the kids name is?
Travonatta?
You don’t have to ask.
I be seeing the big picture.
