Days after the University of California – Berkeley first announced that they were canceling a speech by conservative provocateur Ann Coulter, along with Coulter rejecting their offer of a new date and planning to show up as originally scheduled, the issue is still a big topic on cable news.
On this evening’s broadcast of Fox News’ The Five, the four conservative co-hosts ended up taking turns tearing into the college, students, liberals, and the Democratic Party for blocking Coulter’s free speech. Greg Gutfeld, for example, decried it as “sharia law for snowflakes.”
Eventually, the one panelist who is supposed to represent the left — Bob Beckel — weighed in, and he ended up clashing with his fellow co-hosts over Coulter herself. After first chastising the others for blaming Democrats for these issues over conservative campus speakers, claiming anarchists are largely responsible for the protests — and calling Howard Dean an anarchist himself — Beckel then said he was for Coulter’s right to free speech.
“The reason I am for Ann Coulter speaking is because she has a right to speak and every time she opens her mouth, it drives away more people,” Beckel stated. “She is becoming more and more irrelevant.”

If Ann Coulter is such an idiot why the intense effort to keep her out of Berserkley? What are they afraid of? If she’s such a buffoon let her talk and let anyone with intellectual honestly decide. As I said in another post, there’s 2 types of fascists, fascists and anti-fascists.

I stopped watching The 5 because of him. He is one of the most dislikable human beings this side of Hillary! At least Juan Williams is likable and you can tell he’s a decent person. This guy is not even a competent representative of the Left as he doesn’t even do his homework as he’s often factually wrong on so many things he says! Which is fine with me. I want Leftists to show their incompetence. Which brings me back to the dislikability factor. I can’t get past that. I tried fast forwarding his parts. I just frankly decided I’d rather not even see him.
I deleted FoxNews from my TV remote. Can catch Hannity on satellite. And honestly with Dana Perino, Beckel, Juan Williams, Shep Smith, Chris Wallace, Krauthammer and Geraldo I can just watch MSNBC because it’s more entertaining.

I have dumped them all. The Five used to be a really good news place for watching, but no more. I delete almost everything they do since the libs have taken over.
