Ah, man! Sorry to hear that. Glad you went to the doctor before it got worse! I think sometimes allergies can turn into infections, and that’s not good!

I blame my family, friends, animals and job for this disgraceful score.
With a little more effort, I am sure I can get that puppy over 70%. I will just have to stop sleeping. But no sacrifice is too great.

Hectic day and I’ve just sat down with supper in front of me, shoveling it down.
Had an appointment with the optometrist at 4:30 and didn’t get out of there until 6! They are just soooooo sloooooow there.
Stopped by the nursing home on the way home to check on Clara. They kept her in bed today, I guess so she wouldn’t fall again. She was alert and chipper so all’s well with her.
Bee-yoo-tee-ful weather today! Sunny and low 70s. Tomorrow should be nice, too, then there’s rain in the forecast for the next several days. Dang.

It is slow at the optometrist. All that dilating and can you see this...or this...better. Which I always choose the wrong one. LOL! That’s why my glasses never have just the right combination.

It was just a lot of waiting in between the few exams. I guess they overbook a bit. It’s always the same every year.
No dilating any more! He has a special camera that snaps an image of the back of the eye without dilating and we look at it on the computer.
Today’s exam was just to check the health of my eyes before making an appointment with the surgeon. I’d have been there even longer if they’d checked them out for new glasses. That won’t be done until after surgery and who knows when that’s going to be? *sigh*
I’d be happy to send y’all some rain! LOL! We’re still a little soggy from what we got over the weekend and don’t need more for a bit. But I shouldn’t complain. Last April was when the spigot shut off and we couldn’t get rain for nuthin’ the rest of the year.

Sorry to hear you’re under the weather. Allergies can knock one down if they’re bad enough and it sounds like yours might have given you a bit of an infection. :-( Been there, done that, and it’s no fun. Hope you’re feeling chipper soon!

I hate waiting at any doctor’s office. It does help to take my tablet so I can entertain myself. LOL!
Hope if you have the surgery that it’s successful. I have a friend who has so many eye surgeries. Her’s is a special case, but man! I hope I never have to. Makes my eyes water just to think about them cutting and pokign around there! LOL!
I was just thinking about how dry it was last summer for you. Sure hope that doesn’t happen again!

I hate waiting too. Such a waste of time. And with the appointment so late, I knew I had kittehs getting mad because their supper was late.
The surgery will be to pull my right eye to the center so it’ll be easier to make glasses. It looks off to the right and it’s moved so far out, there’s too much prism required to give me single vision. I’ve known for years this surgery would have to be done and the time has come. You have no idea how much I dread having them cutting around my eyes! LOL! And it could take more than one surgery! EEEEEEEEK!!!!!
Last year was terrible for us regarding rain but things are looking good at present. We hope the trend continues!
Now if FL could get lucky, too, because they’re in trouble down there right now. LOTS of wildfires. :-(
